UGH why the **** won't the Nov. 10th Titanium ROM flash?! It keeps failing.

Could be, try enabling Sense and then send-should go right through. Then try sending with Sense on but from WM messaging, it may hang up but eventually go through. If it hangs, send another sms from within Sense and the recipient should get both messages.
I like HTC messaging so I havent tried any other 3rd party sms programs yet but I know users have gotten good results with smschat.
You may have to run a disabling cab like the zenyee htc messaging disable to get good results if you are not using Sense.
Like I said, havent done it but have read posts of users that have.

I know you know what you are doing but what flash method(s) are you using?
SD? PC?
Bad DL? SD card corrupted?

PC. I tried about 6 times and they all failed at 4-16% progress. Then I watched the Assassins Creed II Video Review and then tried flashing again and it worked. I don't know what was wrong before.

But hey, thanks for the quick response. You've done a lot to help NRG users and we appreciate it.

ok it sends through sense... although sometimes it won't.. but still at least i get a notification for that and also i can see the status change from ev to 1x when using sense. using wm with sense enabled and disabled, it just goes to outbox and sits. must be a sense conflict. going to try disabling htc messaging...

edit: thanks! zenyee cab fixed it to work without manila2.5! saved me from having to find another ROM...

After putting to use all of the "fixes", I am quite confident in saying that I love the 2.5 rom that was released on the 10th!

I never had a problem with ms or sense texting. Except for when I read another user having an issue exactly like yours. In titanium I could not sen a text, it would sit until I turned sense back on, then it would go through. Bad thing is that was a few says back and I have since flashed a time or two or three so not sure what build. I am on 23088 nov 14, Ill get it off cradle and see what happens in titanium, but I have had no lags with either ms or htc messaging so far on this build.

using zenyee cab to disable htc messaging worked like a charm. outgoing texts show 1x sstatus right away and send just the same... so i guess it is manila conflicting. no worries as i prefer to use mobile shell with this rom. and now i can thanks to disabling htc messaging. thanks! definitely saved me from having to find another rom.

edit: i didn't see this workaround listed on the front page, but i think it should be... i've only heard disabling htc messaging for getting MMS back, not to get sending texts working hehe.
im sure most using energy ROMs would prefer to use manila2.5, but there have to be others like me out there. OR maybe im just blind and the workaround is posted for this situation? thanks again

Same thing. Texts sit in the outbox until I switch back to sense.
Not a major issue since I rarely feel the urge to use titanium, but useful info for those who do.
