the keyboard on the nov 10 21xxx rom is AWFUL. the keys are so tiny.

everything else works good, but this rom needs serious work. no landscape ???

I'm gonna quote Judge Judy here: "Is English your primary language?" Seriously though, read NRG's twitter, click "Search this thread" and type landscape, or hell, just click one page back. I'm sure there's some other jackass who asked about landscape support for a port of manila that doesn't have landscape to begin with. I'm sorry. I was a noob at once too, but I also have enough experience to search for an answer before whining about it. End of my rant. I apologize.

They are not a 2.5 version and should be fine with landscape.

sorry about my response earlier. I just tried 3 different energy roms trying to find the perfect one lol. I definately want manila 2.5, its sweet. Would have been cool if there was a facebook tab, just a suggestion

How come people are up in arms for "minor" things such as the keyboard or the landscape mode, but very few report problems with the ringer and not getting calls? Nobody calls you guys? j/k

I can live with the keyboard issues (actually I already fiexed it, thanks to three faces) and the missing landscape mode is no biggie for me. but missing calls is kinda a turn-off for me.

Seriously, how many people are gonna ask for landscape? There is no landscape except in the Music and Photo Tab. Some of these people who keep asking about landscape need a sign stapled to their head saying " NO LANDSCAPE W/MANILA 2.5"

I just need those ringers to work 100%

And also be able to force roaming...hope that gets included somehow

guys, is anyone else having a ringer problem, i have never had an issue with this until this rom.

i noticed that if i use any mp3 as a ringtone, manilla defaults back to initial ringer and then refuses to play anything.

vibrate works tho, and some other non-mp3 ringtones

i really pushed a lot of peoples buttons. I mean, i come to this thread probably once a week. The thread easilt gains like 10 pages a day. I am very busy, i am outgoing, and i really do not have the time to browse through 100 pages.

I used 2.51919...didn't test the newer one to see if it still had the issue with the background on the submenus. ...2.51919 still works well.

I tried moving the pictures there, but still no go. It's not a big deal for me, but just fun to see it actually works with this phone. Maybe someone can shed some light on this.

I flashed the Nov 9 23504. Tried to get hotmail/contacts working by dowing the following:
1. disabling HTC sense
2. installing marketplace
3. updating windows live / restart device
4. Enable HTC sense
5. configure hotmail

Here's the outcome:
-Contacts FAIL to sync (even though the config screen says to sync the contacts, the items are checked but greyed out unchangeable)
-Email Syncs

So looks like we're ALMOST there, but the contacts are still failing to sync.

Contact sync is a dealbreaker for me... flashing back to Oct 28.

Anybody else get contact syncing with hotmail to work?

Yes. There are problems with the ringer, as well as ramdomly not vibrating and/or ringing when a call comes in.


In my case, I think I will have to (reluctanly) go back to MightyRom as I cannot have a phone that ramdomly doesn't get calls.
