After doing most of the tweaks to my system I was still getting at best 4 hours of battery life on this ROM with the stock sprint radio. I tried all of the other sprint radios and got the same results; 4 or 5 hours and a hot phone.
I swithched to the Verizon radios yesterday and my battery life improved tremendously and my phone is no longer hot. Currently using 1.03.09v and happy.
Of course, this also depends on ones location and proximity to towers etc, but the acid test was at work today where I usually have to swap batteries around 5pm. At this moment (8:45pm), 14 hours after turning my phone on, I'm at 35%. Still not as good as my stock rom results.
I got a bit of a shock yesterday when I did the debug and looked at my radio RX and it was -47db. Woahhh.. Then I realized I was connected to my airave.

I really like this ROM and I'm going to play around with the radios some more and take more notes. At least I may be able to help someone in Knoxville TN pick a better radio. More to come.

I agree. I don't see NRG throwin a new 2.5 in yet. For the same reason we are still on 23016. The man likes to have the "new" bugs out before he puts them in his ROMs. So I wont be crushed if it's not 2.5. The new 2.1 isn't shabby and with all the new 6.5 things..... Any new ROM from NRG is gonna be THE SHIZZ! just don't want guys wizzed off if its not 2.5. But......I want it too.

Considering the Beta that he sent out to the testers was 2.1, I can pretty much promise you that the next build will be 2.1 Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but at least you can stop looking for something that is not going to be there.
