Update to my CompactManila with custom font color/size to fix Music tab.
For those that actually installed it. LOL
Not sure if I will update it anymore or not.
If I change wallpapers then I may change my font colors and put out a new version.
Have not seen NRGs new rom so I am not sure if CompactManila will still work.

Will probably work even without CompactManila but that is what I am testing it with.
In any case here it is.

Hey guys, I recently decided to switch from MightyROM to EnergyROM since MightMike isn't cooking for the TP anymore, and I must say, I wish I would have switched earlier. This ROM is awesome! But I have just one really annoying problem (running 9/20):

I have a 3000mAh battery. On MightyROM, I could run Palringo all day and still have 60% left after 12 hours. In fact, that ROM seemed to have equal battery life with and without Palringo running (push mail enabled in either case, so data connection is still used).

The latest NRG has even better battery life with Palringo not running - even with push mail and Bluetooth on, it would only be down to 70-80% after 12 hours. But with Palringo running, the entire 3000mAh battery is exhausted in 8 hours or less. That's a consumption rate of over 266mA.

Why does running an app such as Palringo suck so much battery power on this ROM compared to others?

If you guys want my softkey menu bar to match NRG's sweet taskbar, here it is.
See screenshot a page or so back.

Turn off TF3D or change today theme before installing.
Install and then go back to NRG2 theme and this should give you a matching top and bottom bar.

I know nothing about palringo. I did Google "palringo battery consumption" and found this thread:

Palringo is a battery hog but it is a great app.

I use it on and off but I am not a big IMer. LOL
