i've got a problem. I reinstalled the jan 27 rom 29007 Cookie 2.5 rom, but now there are floating buttons for mail, messages, missed calls, voicemail, and lock. how do I remove these from the home screen? I'd rather use the quicklinks for these

I can't find any way to remove them. going to edit layout -> advanced only lets me slide them around the screen, but doesn't give me any way to remove them!

please help, this is for my wifes phone and I promised it would be ready today!

EDIT: oop never mind I found it. click and hold brings up a popup context menu with remove options. thanks!

Is there a different way to download these 10 files? Perhaps a torrent? This hotfile shit is garbage, 1 download every 30 minutes is bogus.

I seem to be having a problem with my keyboard, whenever I'm using the spacebar it'll add extra spaces...does anyone know how to fix that?

Gave up on this rom when I noticed the Slide-Up Hardware Keyboard doesnt work with it on my Sprint CDMA TP. Searched for solutions and couldnt find one. Looked great while it lasted however.

Great ROM, I have enjoyed it for a long time. I recently decided to update to Energy.HERMAN.29007.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Jan.27 on my Sprint HTC Touch Pro and everything works great except for:

1. The windows default contact manager has a dark purple background in the contact information for each contact after you click on a contact to look at their necessary information such as phone number email, etc. Can this be changed back to white?

2. The Quick Shutdown menu now has so many options, which is great by the way, but the cancel button is now almost completely off of the screen at the bottom. Can this be adjusted?

Did your keyboard work? You have the same phone as me, but any the 29007 builds of this rom dont have hardware keyboard functionality for me. When sliding up the orientation changes and the backlight comes on for the keys as it should, but none of the keys work. Works in all of the other roms ive used however.

Try doing a soft reset. This is a known issue. Reset the phone and it should work.

Change the theme in the today screen to Livven Simplegloss black or Livven Simpgloss blue.

Yup. Just launch quick shutdown and scroll to the very bottom under all of the other settings and you should be able to hit the little wrench and edit and display what functions you want on the the quick shutdown menu.

Something as simple as a soft reset i didnt even try, so I re-installed the rom just now and everything works great. This is by far the best rom ive ever seen. Really gives an old Touch Pro a facelift. Thanks for the tip!

After installing any software the 29007 roms seem become unstable. Tried using the soft reset icon in the start menu, that caused it to halt at the "Touch Pro" screen. Tried Soft-reset/pulling battery several times but still wouldnt get passed it. Re-installed the rom, re-installed some apps, tried to launch them and I kept getting error messages about missing components/bad certificates. Did a soft reset and it showed the energy logo and halted at "setting up device for first use" (Which I thought it already did). Havent tried the 21916 roms yet, ill be trying those here as soon as they download. Had to switch back to a different rom for now, couldnt risk being away from home and having it crash on me. Nonetheless these are by far the best looking roms ive ever seen. Nice work!

Does anybody have a link to an older standard Energy ROM that has CHT 1.8.5 instead of 2.0? I am trying to flash my TP because I have had a lot of SOD issues with my TP2 and CHT 2.0

On my TP2 I am currently run Dec 13th 29005 CHT 1.8 and I really like it
I am looking for something similar for my TP.
