How are people getting around the HTC Dialer "Keypad" and "End Call" buttons shifting down and off the screen during a call. Only happens when using a the Dialer shows the Headset status icon.

Which is Standard 'reference'? Thanks in advance

Don't install either of those if you're a CDMA user! This is the CDMA forum for Herman phones. Raphael is the GSM model.

Either of those are "standard reference" sense roms without cookie or any skins. The 21916 has the classic start menu at the top, the 24634 has the start menu on the bottom.

Phone locked up twice in a row after a call. I think the 24xxx cookie rom has issues...I may have to go back to 21xxx.

EDIT: Or I could try Sept 8th 24xxx...

My phone was doing the same thing with the Sept 4 24xxx Dinik... was going to go back to 8/12 then saw the new Sept 9th ROM.

The phone would lock up either during a call, or right after the call and would not hang up. The end call buttons would not be visible and the hard keys would not work either. Had to SR phone 2-3 times a day and after almost every outgoing call...

Going to try the NEW 9/9 Dinik 24xxx now and will report back.

yes, please report back. i had a bunch of problems with the sep4 rom my hard keyboard didnt even work at all with it, i know the ribbon cable comes out on some of the phones, but mine is working fine with the older aug12 dinik rom.

I just went to the Sept 8th 21xxx cookie. It should be fine, and I get HTC volume control back.

For all keyboard issues, soft reset then try again.

It is NOT a virus. There is a very well known issue in these forums about false positives with many AV programs... Norton, Avast, AVG, Trend, McAfee... do not worry about it. Temporarily turn off your AV's version of Active Protection, unpack the .7z, install the ROM, and enjoy!

I've used SEP for years and also used NRG ROMs exclusively, and have NEVER gotten this, so it's odd. I think I'll wait for more confirmation before I just jump in.
