I've just ran into one problem so far...I'm using 23518 Standard M2.5...When I install my Slingplayer Mobile, it installs without errors but the buttons at the bottom of the application seem to be "overlapping" each other. I can't get to a few of the buttons (crucial buttons such as "Remote Control") to control my Slingbox.

I was using 21885 25.Dec.2009 StandardM2.5 before this latest rom and didn't have the problem. I was able to see and use the buttons at the bottom.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm using the latest Slingplayer Mobile cab install located at SlingMedia's mobile site (sorry, can't post links until I have 10 posts)

It's the same CAB as I used for the Dec.25 rom.
Hey all, just wanted to post an update. This morning, Sling released version 2.0 of their Windows Mobile player and it's a completely new setup as far as buttons go. It's actually identical to the iPhone Slingplayer now.

It's runs perfectly with no problems whatsoever (the buttons are no longer at the bottom...they now appear over the video when you press the screen).

Just a heads up!

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.5|WWE| * EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (23518/21889) |Jan 18| Sense 2.1 and 2

I've been running the latest 21889 Standard for about 6 days now and the battery seems to continue to drain very quickly. Interesting thing is the phone doesn't feel hot at all, but I would get about 4-5 hours before the low battery message pops up and needs to charge. Prior with 28005, I would be able to go about 14 hours. My usage between builds has remained the same, and the way I've configured mail/etc. is the same as well.

Anybody else seeing really poor battery performance?

Thanks!

• There is nothing special about this ROM to make it use more power than other ROMs except that it is tweaked for performance over battery life. After things have settled down, you should get a couple of days usage out of a charge.
• Immediately after flashing, you will probably observe very poor battery performance. This is due to the charging circuit having to reset itself.
• The battery meter will not settle down and give accurate readings for a few battery cycles. Give it a few days.
• For the first few battery charging cycles, try to charge to 100% with phone off and then allow battery to drain down quite a bit before recharging. This is so the meter will calculate drain well.

You should be able to press the SYM key on the hardware keyboard.

I have been searching for a way to use the white flip clock with the Jan 18th Sense 2.1 (23518 ) version - neither the original white clock on the front page or the NRGZ28 2.5 clock seem to be working.

Anyone had any luck with this?

You need a Sense 2.1 clock not a Sense 2.5 clock.

That is the kicker - I have found some 2.1 clocks, but no white flip clock for 2.1 yet.

I'm getting an error when trying to set the "Text Input" from settings:
"The file 'EzInputSettings' cannot be opened...". Can this be corrected? I can still access the settings under personal..
Thanks!
