This Talkonaut looks pretty cool. Did you try it yet? How's it running. I saw that some of the users in the xda threads were havinig a few issues.

Speaking of carrier specific software, tx, do you have a working version of the Sprint Music Store? I need it bad!!!

I will look and see. I really prefer to keep the personal messages out of the thread as it really doesn't need to be here you know what i mean? Everybody is guilty of posting unrelated rants/criticizm including me and it stops here. PM's are preferred for those kind of posts. Anyhow I will see what i can find as for the Sprint music player but honestly i never use it. I assume you searched abroad and haven't found it?

tx, I've searched high and low... downloaded and installed all kinds of stuff, LOL. Still doesn't work. If you don't have it, what site do you recommend for purchasing and downloading music?

EDIT: And yes, I totally know what you mean about the private messages. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna send you a PM right now, LOL!

Try this thread over at spj and let me know if it helps you out.
http://www.smartphonejunkie.com/showthread.php?t=181897

As for buying music, I usually either buy the cd or have a friend make me a copy of their cd. Honestly i can't think of any other music stores other than the popular ones on the web such as iTunes, Amazon, etc. But I would prefer to have the Sprint Music Store on my phone as well since that's what it comes with stock. I hope that thread turns up something for you.

Edit: The only other way I can think of to get it is to pull it from the stock Sprint rom. That may or may not be easy. some of the stock sprint apps are in .cab files in the "windows" directory on the stock rom. It's definetely worth a try since i'm sure you will be updating your rom soon anyway. If you choose to flash back to the stock rom to look for it, just sync your phone with active sync in XP or Windows Mobile Device Center in Vista and you will be able to browse the system files on the device and copy the cab if it is in fact there. Another thing you might want to check into is if Sprint Music Store will even work in WM6.5. I do not know if it does or not sorry.

Dudes, the sprint music store is all over this forum. Just search for "carrier cab" and see if that helps.

LOL you are funny! You search and see what you find when it comes to Sprint Music Store cabs.... and the "carrier cabs" you are talking about do not contain oem software. They are for proper data configuration per carrier. You can't just assume she never tried to google or search this site before posting the question, it's very obvious she did. If she can flash her Touch Pro I'm willing to bet she can type in a google search box.

is there a one button ''delete all voicemail and clear envelope'' button like there is with the stock sprint rom? voicemail is really annoying!

I've actually been searching on how to do have the Sprint Music Store as well. When Deck announced it on his last rom I was pretty excited only to come to find out it didn't work. By the way, that .cab that was posted on SPJ is not the music store. It was a .cab for an old software store app. I think a lot of people don't get exactly what it is. I think the rom has to be pretty much stock to run it. I've heard people say it has to do with a custom user agent string to the opera browser and to have the files in there respective places. I've asked on how to do it and was never explained.
