Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing what Deck has put together with respect to custom icons. He's done so well at building this ROM that I trust his judgment and believe that anything else he brings to the table will make it all the more awesome.

He said that he originally created this ROM for his own personal use, yet he was kind enough to share it. IMHO, I think that when you utilize a custom ROM, you have to be open to the fact that there will be things incorporated into the ROM that are custom made. Otherwise, you might as well keep your "Stock" ROM.

I do have this problem, but it's intermittent and not manifesting right now, so I can't give (even unreliable) repro steps. As soon as it manifests again, I'll give it a shot.

Also, every now and then, I'll go to check my phone and find out that it's locked up. Black screen with a title bar, and that's it. I have no idea what's causing this. Thoughts?

I honestly don't think it's this rom causing your "black screen". I have two Touch Pro's and never has it done this on either of my phones that are currently running this rom. Look into other apps or tweaks you might have done since you flashed to this rom and you should be able to find the problem. I was having problems with flash lite 3.1 and didn't realize that was causing my screen lock ups until i uninstalled it when troubleshooting.

I don't need a description or better understanding of what a custom rom is... i do understand that roms are all custom... I was only throwing out my personal opinion and by no means was it a complaint or demand. It was simply my thoughts as I personally like the "clean" look that Deck incorporates in his roms. To each his own, that's why I'm using this rom because I like the look and features as they are right now.

Thanks Deck, I worked on it for a few... Had to kill some time last night while waiting on the update. Hint hint... Your SsS graphic font is a little tricky to duplicate but hopefully it's a good representation. A lil support for your work and a little advertising at the same time.

don't take it as an attack i think they were just stating for not just you but for everyone. also if you don't mind (and this is also for everyone) could you please read or atleast search through this thread before you post as i see some comments/questions posted that have been discussed frequently and it both clutters the thread and may take attention away from someone else who has posted a new comment/concern/request. the custom taskbar idea has been discussed already and there was quite a demand for it but deck decided to wait til a later build because it wasn't working with one of the older ones i believe. thanks in advance.

as i understand it you posted that which means that you started the discussion if not i apologize. but that is what i was referring to. the icons collectively are called a taskbar. no disrespect intended they aren't instructions just a request
