the app works for me. however there is no sound from any of the videos. I've tried numerous vids from various sections and no sound. I don't usually use the youtube on my phone, but hey, you never know.

**edit** nevermind. after a reset i have the same error "cannot play this video."

hmm, maybe it was a problem in 0203. (youtube) i am trying to release as fast as possible, as in i have been working on the new ezinput 2.1. everything works sip wise, just borks the hardware keyboard. in version 2.0, i was able to revert back to an older .dll (et9ime.dll) and fix the problem. phone wont even boot when i do it this time :/ so still working on that. Soon as i can get this problem worked out, i will release

I also have the same problem with youtube. What I found with my phone is that if you open youtube thru manila I get the same results posted (cannot play video). If I go and open it thru the start menu after opening it thru manila without soft reset it opens and plays but no sound. If I soft reset and open it thru start menu it works (video & sound). Hopefully this helps someone for now until there is a fix. (V203)

Whos ready for an update?

1. Added EzInput 2.1. Here is the problem. The reason we have never had a compact qwerty and/or phone pad is due to a few reasons.
a. Ezinput 2.x was made for GSM devices, NOT cdma. The GSM devices have different hardware i.e. keyboard.
b. The way we made 2.x work was by using the eT9ime.dll from ezinput 1.5 which was made for our device. But at the same time, it broke the ABC/T9 functionality. Thats why we were never able to use the compact qwerty and/or phonepad.
2. I can make ezinput 2.1 compact qwerty/phonepad T9/ABC work, but then it will result in a borked hardware keyboard.
3. I can make the hardware keyboard work perfectly and the full qwerty work, but no compact qwerty/phonepad.

I am not sure what i am going to do yet. I personally dont use the compact qwerty or dialpad, so im going to keep my working hardware keyboard and full qwerty. As for public release, i guess it depends on feedback although i couldnt imagine anybody dealing with a borked hardware keyboard, thats the reason we have a touch pro right? the keyboard?

4. Youtube is broken. It works sometimes, sometimes it doesnt. I read that juicy believed it had to do with the dshow package, but honestly, after testing a few different versions, i dont believe so. i may resort back to an older build for the time being until i can figure something out.

5. If anybody wants to take a look at the 2 dll's (eT9ime.dll v2.1 and 1.5) and see what they can come up with, please pm me and ill get you the files.
Same goes for the manila scrolling which is the 'newcontactcard' (contacteditor.exe)(v1913 scrolls, v1914+ doesnt). Same also goes for the contactutility.dll (1913 doesnt error facebook, 1914+ does).

Let me know, i want to put out an update asap.

Deck, you continue to amaze...man after perfecting the Touch Pro...with your determination lets sic you on cancer or diabetes! Way to go man.

Personally, I use the touch pro for the keyboard so a "borked" hardware keyboard would not work for me...

Thanks for the hard work...been following you since the beginning!
