Re: [ROM] [FINAL] [06.26.09] MightyROM4 w. OEM BASE Included

Ok, I downloaded the MightyROM4 XIP/SYS Base and the MightyROM4 OEM Base.

I've extracted both to their own respective folders. Do I need to move the contents of one folder into the other folder?

What do I do if I just want to make the latest version of MR4 w/ all the apps. I use built into it already? Do I just put the *.cab file for each of my apps. in a certain folder then run the batch / BuildOS file?

Re: [ROM] [FINAL] [06.26.09] MightyROM4 w. OEM BASE Included

I've got a question I hope someone can answer! I've read through a lot of the thread but haven't really seen it mentioned.

What happened to my battery life? Before when I flashed with May 1 R3born, I would have my phone completely charged up before bed, and then after I slept the battery would still be at 90%, no use, then i'd go through the whole day and still not need to charge my phone til it was time to sleep, with regular usage.

Now I've flashed a couple of the new updates, flashed to silence/mighty and back to MightyROM4 now, and ever since I upgraded from that original R3born, the battery life has been absolutely *horrible* As in.. After 6 hours of no use (maybe 2 outgoing text messages and a missed call) I'm down to under 30%.. I've been trying to find a version with better battery life but to no avail. Is it my hardware then? Battery is shot or something? My HTC pro is only 2 months old.. any ideas?

Try to recalibrate your battery. Let it run all the way to 0% dead, then charge it with the phone turned off. When you power back on it won't be fully charged, but will charge back up to 100% with the power on. I did this with both of my batteries and found I was missing almost 20% on both.

Is there anyway as to disable the "new text message" box with the text message showing up each time a new text message is received; don't want certain people seeing a new text message showing up if someone decides to use my phone.....

Go into setting-sounds & notifications-notifications and select new text message for the event. Then just uncheck the display new message onscreen option. If this solved the problem go ahead and click that friendly little green button in the corner.

I'm not quite sure if I notice any difference yet, but my mind seems to *think* that it's better. Thanks a bunch. =)

You only catch it the first time when you get back the missing percentage. Either way its a stresser because you spend all day staring at that little battery meter trying to soft reset hoping it'll give you back 5%. Getting a 2nd battery was the best battery tweak possible. Glad I could help if it helped at all. If so, a thanks button click is always nice.
