So I uninstalled S2U2 last night and took my phone off the charger this morning at 7am. 9 hours later at 4pm it's at 50%!! To me this is amazing, since the day I bought my touch pro I've been using S2U2 constantly and have NEVER seen this battery life.

This is a total breakthrough in my book, I don't want to toot my own horn or anything but this ROM is seriously coming together nicely

That ringer is the one Chev (Jason Statham) had in the movie Crank.

To tell you the truth I never liked S2U2 but never uninstalled it since I never knew how do uninstall it properly. The only time I ever used it was to fix the "contacts not showing up when I receive a call" problem I had. But even then if I did a soft reset the problem would come up again and the only way to fix it is to "set" the caller id setting again in "S2U2 settings" I would prefer it not to be in your next rom seeing it would most likely solve my problem and conserve battery life. Good discovery on that Psyki

Just go to 'remove programs' and uninstall 'S2U2 Enabler'. The files will still be on the device but after you soft-reset it will never show up again.

I've been doing that ever since you added it to the "uninstall programs menu" and it did disable it. I misunderstood you...I thought you meant you removed S2U2 files and all.

Welcome to the party! Install the Comm Manager fix and uninstall S2U2

I've been using pocketshield as a replacement which works great.
