This does not mean you are using more memory, just that the percentage is higher given the decrease in total memory available. I was reading up on what pagepool memory does and as far as I can tell (I could be way off) it becomes more and more useful the longer your system is running. Basically when you use a program or access a file it stores a pointer to it in the pagepool, and when you access the same program or file again it looks in the pagepool first before moving on to look in memory. A higher pagepool means more space for these things to be stored, so if you soft-reset a lot you may not see any benefits.

Again I could be totally wrong but that was my interpretation after some light research. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in and enlighten us all

From what i read it is very similar to a swap file on a PC. It utilizes the space in case you run out of memory as well. On the computer if you want to run multiple programs and you are limited to Memory (ram) then you use some allocated space on the HDD (swap file) so that you don't run out of memory and therefore notice decrease in performance....Feel free to correct me if i am wrong.

I use the Windows messaging app because the TF3D version doesn't always show the texts that I send, which causes me to wonder if the text was actually sent.

When I get a text, I touch the SMS tab and read what's in the #1 slot. If I want to reply, instead of tapping the message (which pulls up the TF3D app) I tap the "All Messages" left soft key, then open the message itself, make sure the cursor focus is in the reply portion of the window, slide out the keyboard, and start typing. Like I said, it goes to landscape mode for a few seconds as it should, then goes to portrait mode. I can continue typing and can send the message, I just have to view it sideways.

I have also tried sliding out the keyboard at various other times in the process, with the same result.

I have ArcsoftSprintMMS 5.0.69.44 installed, but have also tried version 5.0.82.79.

5.0.82.79 is cooked into the rom, but that is more or less the same process I use as well. Or I'll look at the message on the messaging tab, hit the menu softkey and hit reply, then slide the keyboard out. I've never once had it go to portrait on me. Does it always go back to portrait for you? Or just sometimes?

Not that I'm aware of, but try the IE cab someone posted on the last page and see if that works for you.

Pretty much always.

It also does it when I start new messages, when I'm typing in the recipient's name. Thanks for fixing the multiple suggestion thing in v3, BTW.

Huh, that's just weird. Did you hard-reset after flashing?
