could someone tell me how to get the dialer and incoming slide to answer or ignore screen back like in your first ROM???

so i put the rom on my girls phone and i cant get her gmail or google sync to work. I hard reset twice. The password is correct. It keeps going back to the screen as if its showing her password is incorrect. i logged on to the computer and made sur ei was putting the password in right and it is.

I was having the same problem. Since I do not have this rom installed right now, I can't guide you to the process. But basically, you can fix it by going to the advanced setup and make sure the right connection is selected.

Also make sure you enabled pop enabled from your girls gmail account settings.

It's been a few days since i reported in so i have some bugs that annoy me:

The phone froze on me and when i hard reset ( take out battery) the phone would show the boot screen and then go off and nothing would happen. I believe someone else had the same problem a few pages back.

This is the third time that happen to me since i flashed to V2.1 and from what i have noticed it has to do with PIM backup. the first 2 times that happens i restore all my messages and custom items and after about a day the ringer stopped working hence missing multiple calls and sms, the UI would freeze up and when i try to open up a window it would just be stuck on the screen.

Anyway not really a big deal since i was able to hard reset ( Phone off---> hold middle (enter button) vol down, power button, hold all 3 for a few secs till you get the msg to restore to factory) and i was able to get the phone back up and running. Not sure if other people had that happened to them but as a last test i only restored my contacts and nothing else and i will monitor (hopefully) for a few days.

On another note i did notice the battery to drain very very fast......S2U2 signifficant amount drained from that (not everyone get the same results) slight delay on grafix when switching from window to window....(not sure why) Youtube is not working at all ( tried Techs youtube version didnt' work even after a hard reset)

Forgot to mention that after having the phone on for 2 days straight with no soft reset it hung and after the soft reset all my custom tweaks (tsowen top bar , sms, email ) was gone, my phone didn't connect to the net, everytime i hit the sms tab it would reset TF3d......hard reset fixed that but that really annoyed me the most cause it happend at the worst possible time......

Awesome ROM never the less......sh*t happens

if anything else i will report after monitoring for a couple of days at least.

well as far as my battery i dont think it drains very fast. I hardly use it at work it sat in my pocket for 7 hours a few text and couple of phone calls from 9am to 6pm i had 91% battery by 10 pm i had like 70% still. idk how but i did..

As far as the s2u2 i dont use it but my gf does. I used my phone today from 10 am to 9pm very moderately and i had 66% today i dont use s2u2 personally like i said personally but my gf does and she had her phone off the charger from 8 am to 9pm is when we compared our battery and she had 63% using s2u2 so she doesnt see a big battery drop off using it.

I use IMAP gmail and google sync all the time and have never had an issue, dunno what to say... Maybe make sure you are using her full email address for the username in activesync?

I wish my phone got that kind of battery life! Currently with S2U2 enabled I get maybe 12 hours before I need to charge with typical use. Couple short calls, about a dozen texts, a few emails, couple web look ups. I know for a fact that Rhodium eats battery faster than TF3D1, but it's been so long since I've run TF3D1 let alone with my exact setup that I can't really compare them anymore.
