I am not having the same problems you are but then again I just use threaded message's and text the same people all the time so I haven't had to enter a recipient name because I don't delete my messages.

I have soft reset my phone. This same problem happened to me in Psyki 1 and I've hard-reset multiple times between them, so I'm pretty sure that is not the problem. I'll give it a go later tonight/early tomorrow, but I'm very convinced the problem exists outside the realm of a hard-reset fix.

Nope. I've never had this problem with Psyki's ROM.

I have been seeing that in different apps, not just text message, so I dont think it has anything to do with the text message.

Sure, the phone freezes all the time and in a variety of programs. Screen 3 illustrates that I can reproduce this freeze over and over again using the same process. It's not just a random fluke, I am creating this error.

You can also see that the cursor stays in the same place through all the screens, despite the fact that I've typed a message in the subject box.

Yes, we both linked to the same fix. I installed the fix by unzipping directly into the Windows directory and verified the files copied correctly.

I've verified that the stock alarm goes off fine, I just really want to disable G-Alarm and unmap clicking the clock on the main tab to go to G-Alarm.

Hmm then I am sorry im not too sure about the text message issue since this is the first I have seen it come up.. Only thing I can say is to hard reset or wait till someone else reads this post and can help you.

About G-Alarm I see a file in the windows folder named "GAlarmUninstall" which I would think would uninstall it hence the name..

Try it out and see if it works and let me know

Yes, Stock alarm does work, but the clock has a set back issue which sets your time back, which obviously screws up your alarm that is set... This happens by you accidently hitting the home screen clock, which when I used roms with the manila had happen a lot. Unless you installed "disableworldclock" cab which made it so you couldnt do that. I suggest you installing that cab if you want to use the stock alarm which I will give you if you need, just let me know

Correct me if I am wrong with all this, I am just typing a little of what I know from experience.

I'm not at all a fan of G-Alarm and would really just like to go back to stock.

The way I see it, without g-alarm if you tap the clock you have the hour rollback problem, the solution is you simply avoid hitting the clock. WITH g-alarm, if you tap the clock g-alarm starts. Either way the ultimate solution to your problem is to just
not tap the clock

That's a great idea when it works. But for some reason I am now getting the World clock coming up even though I didn't remove g-Alarm or anything from the startup menu. I get "That's Bad - Error Proc not available" now and g-Alalrm is not working at all .

Another issue is with the radio:
I am using the Telus radio which I found to be the best but on this ROM I am dropping to a x1 connection all the time. I had issues with bored's ROM never reconnecting to EV when coming out of a tunnel so I know a ROM can affect the radio connection. And I also concur with other people that when in "Messaging" - it's god-awful slow.

I meant to post this last night but forgot to his send, heh. I haven't read all the posts from today but here are my current thoughts.

So, quite frankly I am somewhat disappointed in myself and this ROM for all of the bugs it has been having. I have addressed a lot of the earliest mentioned problems in the rollup fix but it can't be released as a cab, it would have to be a new ROM. Then to read about all the newer weird errors such as entering names in a TXT, or trying to select text in emails.... I suspect the issue may be with the 21043 SYS in general.

In short, sorry to keep you all waiting but I am going to test this build on the 21042 SYS and possibly release that. It will definitely address all the problems v1 faced and should also solve the new/bizarre problems v2 introduced. I'll keep you guys updated.

And seriously, thanks 48021934 for sticking with me and kicking *** at tracking down issues!

I was having a problem with my phone eairler, People were calling me. Phone wasnt ringing, No vibrate, nothing. The people who called said it went straight to voicemail, i checked made sure phone wasnt off in comm manager everything was fine. So I soft reset and so far its been good. Just wanted to let you know
