yes you do. but not the compact qwerty. get's rid of it. i've tried the fix with two roms with the same results. whatever software keyboards that are installed get "suppressed". it's odd how it works actually.

ok since i cant figure out how to get the GPS weather to work with this rom is there any other weather programs that you guys know of and like?

there is only 1 weather program i use and it is the best in my opinion. Weather Panel Try it out with second today it works great.

My GPS weather updated only when I was connected to WiFi

I'm one of those people that takes my phone with me to the rest room (i know TMI). I tend to play games while i'm "working". Well, while i was there earlier, i noticed that my local weather updated. Now good folks, i can definatly tell you that it was not possible to get a gps fix on my location from where i was. So. How the heck did it do it?

I have the same issue with AUG31 build. Neither my wife or I can receive beams, and since we are the only ones we know to beam to we can't test sending. We're both running Psyki, cause it's the awesomesauce, lol.

so what i am gathering is that no one knows why or when the local weather will find you and update.... but it can happen at the strangest times lol


*** i can say that hooking up to wifi did find my location...... thanks for the idea

first time at all this stuff and its all pretty amazing. great work on your ROM, i love it!

i did have 2 questions that I was unable to figure out through my search:
1) how can I edit the pagepool and up it to 24 which seems like what everyone is doing
2) how can I active beejiveIM, when I click activate it tells me that it was unable to find the key

Personally I just used quick gps, it locked my position and then clicked on update in weather and waited for about a min and the weather found me.
