Oh I'm definitely getting a TP2, probably not right when they come out though. Don't worry though the touch pro has a special place in my heart, I know there will still be a loooot of touch pro users for a long time to come so I'm not going anywhere.

when do u think we'll get update with memory leak fix?

i was wondering if u cooked in those 2 reg keys that supposedly fix the wm incoming call pop up bug cuz i still noticed it briefly when i received a few calls today...if u did i guess that wasnt the fix.

Same specs but bigger screen just didnt excite me...I love the TP keyboard and TP2 kb looks so different....I like the rhodium setup but with awesome chefs like yerself I can use that with the original.....

For the most part I love the Touch Pro and everything about it.

I cringe at the thought of having to take a TP2 for a replacement if my TP fails...So far just a kb swap but the TP seems comparable to Xbox 360 failures...They sorda have common build failures with the unproper ventilation issues...

I hope if and when it fails they just give me a TP NIB because I gotta couple of scraches and dents that I wouldnt mind if they dissappeared...

When tax time comes around I might have to accidently lose this TP and pay the $100 deductible to assurion

NRGZ said this too and hasn't released a ROM for the TP since he got the TP2. I don't expect support for ever... I hope only until I get one I actually think their going to have something even a little nicer than the TP2 soon.

I'm wondering as well right now I use cmlxgos.wm6.5.ring.popup.fix.cab and if its not needed I will remove it from sashimi. Thanks

I know there cannot be support for "yesterday's" technology forever and appreciate those that still want to cook Roms for the TP.

I have to say that this one is pretty darn stable with a few bugs only so when it is time to move on, the ROM left to us will be a really good one.

I'm waiting on the TP3- unless I somehow get a TP2 for dirt cheap.Sprint's $349 after rebate seems too much to me...

First, I'd like to thank Psyki for the ROMs. Excellent work and I appreciate the hours and hours invested into making it. I am also impressed with the quick CAB fixes.

I've noticed the same or similar keyboard issue, not as bad as you're describing, usually just a double letter or so. I did not have any issues on the stock ROM, but as soon as I tried Psyki's ROM (the first v4) I noticed it started happening. Several other people have mentioned this when switching, so I'm skeptical that so many people would have a hardware keyboard failure start at the same time they switch ROMs. Too many to be coincidence, especially when some people have new/newer phones. Perhaps there are some models built in a similar timeframe (serial # or something) that are more susceptible to a timing/bounce problem that is brought out with a new keyboard driver or WM65 or something else cooked into the new ROM. That might explain why it is only some people and not everyone.

I like many things about Psyki's ROM, so I'm not going to switch back. But I believe that if I did, the keyboard problem would go away.

thank's again Psyki, this rom is really nice. not only is it rich in nice software but it's nice to look at too.

that being said... for some reason, i'm having misc. freeze ups and crashing. i've flashed back to stock, redownloaded and reflashed to try and solf the problem, all the no avail. it seems to happen when i add new programs, switch back and forth between tf3d2 and titanian. i'm pondering another hard reset.

has anyone else had any of these issues and if so, how did you fix them (if you did).

also. if anyone is intersted, i have a cab for the qwerty keyboard that will change the keys back to where they used to be on the compact qwerty and get rid of the extra parentheses keys that were added on the newer version. i have fat little fingers and i just had a really hard time with the new version.

Another option to accept a selected date is the push the round hardware "enter" button at the bottom of the screen (the middle of the directional pad).
