im using the manilla build..and this rom kicks arse mate..only issue is i cant get my hotmail, windows live or msn to work. ive tried installing a different windows live and messenger but get the incomplete install due to permission...have i missed a fix somewhere long the way or is yhis a known bug? thanks again mate

Also, anyone know how to remove the clock in the taskbar in these newer 6.5.1 builds? I hate looking at 2 clocks (manila/titanium and taskbar)?

ok, so I just flashed then did 2 hard resets... first thoughts, LOVE the look. wait, where the hell is the start menu icon... oh, its at the bottom. ok, interesting...

MyPhone will not connect. this sucks. I do not have a backup of my contacts except for on there...

MMS will not send pics.

font at the bottom of the screen beside the start menu icon is rough, as if it is not sized for that area properly.

Using Chome Config it will not change or save the new order for the titamium items. I want weather, Chome, Cclock, Cmessages, Cemail. set it up, saved order. diddnt save. some of the panels I disabled are still there, where as some that I enabled are NOT there.

as already noted, tapping the taskbar to bring up the larger taskbar most ocons are not there. Only icon visible is Volume.

at idle, after a fresh soft reset lettng it sit for 30 mins I am sitting at a 70% memory load. maybe Im just neurotic but I like to keep this as close to 50% load as possible. DCD, SSK, and a few others sit around 55% all day.


Crap, I feel like I am totally bagging on you here, and I really dont mean to be. I love the look and feel of the ROM, but these issues are gonna kill me.

you have to install your carrier cab to get mms myphone hotmail etc to work.

Im working on figuring out why you need to do this.

Theres no way to reduct the size of the menus, this is something microsoft did. This is what their working towards for wm 6.5.1
The font cannot be changed either it is caused by the sys
Remember this is a very beta sys its still the begining stages of wm6.5.1.

Also im going to make titanium a lite version of the rom, if you need everything still included just use the manila version and disable manila.

just tried my carrier cab and still no dice..dunno, its odd. other than that this is a seriously stable rom mate. nice work.

I installed DCD's VZW Carrier cab right off the bat. I remembered that your post somewhere stated that I needed to install a carrier... I always dial *228 option 1 to program my phone after flash. it took three tries to get it to program. I could make calls, and recieve texts, but the notifications were all stacked on top of themselves and unreadable. I kow there is a notification fix cab here somewhere... Ill find it later. the font issue that I mentioned isnt a problem, just was an observation.

here is my ideal ROM... Titanium showing weather, Chome, Cclock, Cmessages, Cemail. gagetfreaks square taskbar like you used. your normal visual tweaks. as for progs... just HTC album with facebook uploader, opera, and the tachi dialer. the few random progs I want after that i can Cab in.

again, Im just a bit neurotic in watching my RAM. its a sickness I have. I feel bad critiquing your work as I could never build anythig like this on my own. I can download something like Scotts SSK kitchen and cook something, but he already did the work.

hmm damn that is weird, im trying one thing, i had to change a few settings in my generic carrier oem. Ill post a new version asap!

no worries man, i appreciate the feedback. I just changed a lot in the titanium version, i need a lite rom also since i have vzw tp. Im pretty sure i fixed the carrier problems too. If you want i can send you the test rom.
