+1 to Malwarebytes. I do virus removal just about everyday for my customers. It's always the first thing i run. If that doesn't get it, then Combofix (here) is the next up, and that program is a miracle worker. Good luck.

Once you get your PC up and running and start updates. There is a probability that you can upload an updated ROM to your server with a virus, which in return, we can all get infected with when we download to our PC's.

Can't run that risk man.... My girl's TP got a random virus just from syncing and charging from her sis laptop.....

well, shoot. I never realised that our beloved Touch Pros could get viruses. makes sense though as they do run windows....

on another note, freaking GREAT ROM! just installed it today and absotivley LOVE it. been running Scotts SSK roms since he launched the B2B version, played with a few, but never really loved any untill this one. Just wish it had a kitchen as there are a few things in it that I will never use, adn they are jst wasting space on my Verizon castrated HTC Gimp Pro, and there are a few other things that I normally cook in. but all in all freaking amazing.

Seriously ,when was the last time you uploaded or downloaded and ran anything without scanning it first? And the notion that BMX's roms are no longer safe to use as a result , come on.....

Are you serious?? Scan everything as usual. You should always have your virus scanner scanning in real-time as well. Just because he got a virus doesn't mean his ROMs are no longer any good.

If people are paranoid try this combo:

Spyware terminator (real-time scan and registry check)
Spybot Search and Destroy ( Teatimer Real time Scans)

this is a stupid question. i know it is. but hell im gonna ask it anyway. before the customizations run the background of the main screen matches the one that is there when you press the start key. but after customizations run it has this weird black swirl/smoke looking background. how do I get the other one back? the one that looks like perforated metal? thanks for the help. I have spent about 3 hours searching through all sorts of background threads on here, XDA, Modaco.... havent found it yet....

Here it is for you. I also had several versions of this wally tagged with the Demolition Logo but recently had a reinstall of my OS go terribly bad and lost most everything but I am sure BMX has them still if he were here ;(

When you flashed the rom did you run pimbackup to restore contacts/text/emails/every thing? If so do a hard reset and only run pimbackup and restore contacts ONLY nothing else.. I mean do you really need all those old text? lol it will kill the 30 second to exit text message bug.
