Just kidding around, anyway its unfortunate that the verizon gimped their version of the pro so badly but in any case there are many custom roms that can speed things up for you a little or you can get a sprint touch pro and flash to verizons network.
i wouldnt recommend trying to get a sprint tp and activating it on vzw, i dont think theyre allowing it anymore.

anyways, check out bored's or the ssk roms/kitchens. they were designed with the verizon tp in mind and they do wonders for these phones
