Can someone help me with a very basic issue. When I open the kitchen "click to start here" batch file, it skips "buildos" and goes straight to the update utility, which subsequently does not work . Am I doing something incorrectly?

I initially flashed the basic ROM, and while there's a lot to like, has anyone else noticed a big lag with IE?

Let me add an addendum: I went into tools and found buildos.exe. Is this a workaround? When I do try that I get an error message that the program stopped working.

either really soon-cuz he has been working on it for a while

or

a while-cuz new builds keep dropping & im guessing he is working on those, plus test roms usually come out before kitchens

but we all hope soon

I guess that would explain why I am unable to use the kitchen? LOL. Then what was the file I downloaded, I'm a little confused.

the kitchen is in post 2 at the bottom

uhh well I am still working on getting some of the sprint apps to work like sprint music and software store as soon as those are complete I will post

I had downloaded it but when I hit the "click to start" batch file, it wouldn't open the buildos file. Instead it opened the romupdate utility. Now when I read everyone asking about when the kitchen is coming through, am I correct in understanding that the kitchen linked in post #2 is not working now?

no...it should work, have u ever used a kitchen by JD before???

No, first time. I downloaded the file, opened it with WinRar, hit "click here to start" and it said "can't find romupdateutility". I then copied it to a ROMupdateutility folder. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, any help would be much appreciated.

idk if im right or not..drag all the folders on ur desktop..should work..hope im right...
