I see. I'll try that, thanks. So I'll just extract it to my desktop and try form there. With the bare ROMs I don't have to do this, so this is all new to me. Thanks again, I'll update.

OK, so working so far. Afrer running the BuildROM, it is now asking me which ROM file to use, and stuff about Pagepools. What do I do from here? Thanks.

u dont really have to change the pagepool..just close it..and it should cook

Got it working. One weird thing, though. After doing a restore from SPB backup, my calculator disappeared. Any way I can get it back as a cab file? I really don't care which calculator.

Usually when i flash to new rom I don't do a full restore of spb backup, only contacts and txt/email. because then it overwrites the system files like calculator to the old ones, which i dont want.
You can try to go into file explorer in the windows directory and try to find it there, then create a shortcut 4 it in the startmenu directory.

The reason I do a full restore is to keep settings, registrations, etc. I have a ton of medical software and it becomes a royal pain redoing everything, but I see your point. I did go into file explorer and couldn't find it. Not even my old calculator.

Does anyone know how to install the HTC Calc rar rile in JD's file list? As it is not a cab file, I'm not sure where in file explorer to put the extracted files. Thanks.

Thanks, but I don't know how to install them. They're not cab files, so when I put them on my TP there is no application to open them. Could you tell me how to do that? Thanks. I tried extracting the files, but I don't know where to put the extracted files.
