I had the USCC radio stock. After I flashed to MightyROM 4.11 I found my signal strength a bit degraded. I think I will flash back to USCC's radio version. I'll report back as I live in a low-signal area.

So far, this has been very good for me. Yesterday and this morning, I was having a problem with 1.11.00F and 1.04.05V jumping back and forth from full bars to zero bars, and dropping the data connection. Not a single problem since loading this radio this morning, though. Data is about the same, as far as I can tell, but stability is great! Will have to see about heat and battery life, though.

Ill be adding radios to the first post. decided to stop in. was going to upload mine but looks like you guys are keeping the scene going.

ive got a few other radios as well.

Cool. Have you tried this one, yet?

I guess we need to let this thread die and get back to the main one. Anyone know why it isn't a sticky, like in the Diamond Upgrade forum? I keep having to hunt it down, which is why I was glad to see this thread, since it is bubbling to the top a lot.

some one in the pro forum (moderator) got upset one day for unknown reasons and removed the sticky to spite me.

dunno why. it accomplished nothing but an inconvenience to others.

Flashing radio is at your own risk and every one realizes this. so removing it for the users safety as i was told makes no sense. especially since the diamond forums radio thread is still stickied.

OK went back to the USCC radio. GPS locking is MUCH faster. Google maps didnt even register it locked onto any sats before it got my location. Previously with the version in MightyROM it registered 6 satellites but didnt get a lock on my location. Also, signal strength seems improved by 1-2 bars in my location.

The internet speed went down from ~600 to 150-200 at exactly same location. I went from 1.11 to 1.07. EVDO tweak did not help much. Too bad.
Also, having problem reflashing radio from SD card now. Goes into bootloader but does not recognize raphimg.nbh.

This is such a tough decision.. I was happy with 1.04 but now 1.07 might seem like the better choice.. I have tried it, but don't seem to notice a difference much.
I wish someone could make an official test to prove which radio works best in different parts of the country or at least DC/VA.... Not alot of folks in my area with TP's or willing to post their comments... awrrr!

Hey man. I am in MD. I am on the 1.11 radio. Is the one that you are on better? What kind of speeds and battery life do you get?
