Immediately upon launching the TF3D Config app from SETTINGS > SYSTEM > Diamond TF3D Config

Although I've not yet tried this myself, I'd just thought I'd let everyone know that the next version of tf3d is out.

Version 1D was just released. You can read more about it and the fixes in this fuzemobility article as well as the orginal thread over at xda.

Or, if you're coming from version 1C (which is what I think Kev is using, someone else might want to confirm this), you can just install the update .cab, which is located in the xda thread and I've attached it here.

I'm just not 100% sure this is compatible with Kev's, like I'm not sure if he's done some specific reg edits that would cause some conflicts.



EDIT: I'm removed the cab I attached. I installed the cab for version 1d, and it messed up my device. The landscape background was messed up (like pwc reported) and the portrait background was a darker shade. Weird. I could live with those, but the "Start" drop down would not work whatsoever. When tapping on start, I'd get a whole new screen that said start at the top with no buttons and no options to do anything. I uninstalled the cab, all's well and back to normal.

I had just done 2 hard resets specifically to install this fix on a clean system. It was the first cab I installed, so I don't know whats wrong. Test at your own risk but it didn't work for me.

Ok, now that I've properly flashed and did the hard reset...I can accurately report the following....

the ROM runs great...

Installed Arcsoft from the cab folder...did not have any issues...you end up getting a bit of both the Rhodium messaging treatment and a bit of the old arcsoft...

from the contact page...once you bring up a specific contact, I'm not able to edit the contact...even when I press menu and edit contact.

I have not attempted to install ANY custom icons, OR any other manilla tweaks (no curtains, no bottom curtain, etc...) since that was probably my problem from my earlier flash.

If you kill the start process in the process menu, it kills the TF3D and it won't restart automatically.

I installed the 1d TF3D and am still having wallpaper problems. I lik the default black and cannot get that to show up in landscape mode. also if I set a wallapper in portrait mode when I switch to landscape you get a double image in landscape. UGH there just needs to be a way to clear the wallpaper in landsape

Just loaded up the ROM and love it!!!! I didn't get to test a whole lot tonight but will over the next few days.

tf3d tp2 port version 1d did not work for me. I edited my above post with the reasons. It's post #123 and I removed the cab I attached as well.

Kevan.. great job.. i've been using your stable 1.8 and like it alot.. i just upgraded to the Beta and am testing it out.. so far it seems great.. definitely faster than 1.8...

bug: TF3D crashes whenever I attempt to access city changes...either thru the world time screen OR when I'm adding a city on the weather tab.

Can't wait til the clock issue is fixed...not a deal breaker BUT it is annoying...
