I tried the 38515 PRL (the last on for Cricket on the site you linked to) and have the same result. I have areas in my house where I get no Cricket signal, and it shows the little roaming icon at the top in those places. When the roaming icon is there, test calls go to Verizon...?
Oh wait...you said to try the non-EVDO PRLs? Is this a non-EVDO phone? I'm a little lost on that one... Oh, and I don't think that *228 will work as I do not have service set up yet, so my MSID is not right. I can't set my MSID until I have a Cricket account for the phone, am I correct?
