I know what your talking about. In EnergyROM I goto Start //Internet //Send & Receive All //Menu (At the Bottom) //Scroll Down to Pic/Video Options...// From there I get the Arcsoft Setting and goto the Server Tab at the bottom like you mention and the Only one is Cricket MMS. I tap on it, and I get the option to change what you discribe.

Server Name is Cricket MMS
Gatway is nothing/empty
Port is 8080
Server Address is http://mms.mycricket.com/sevlets/mms
Connect Via is Cricket
Send Limit is set to 1000k

But i notice that at the top the title bar says Outlook E-mail (Next to the Start Button). I suspect Arcsoft may have the same settings menu for other apps. But the Registry under Arcsoft has no mention of Alltel. I have changed everything in the registry that i know to change under Arcsoft. I have double checked for any strings/value for Alltel but nothing. Just Cricket.

Edit: Okay I found other ways to get to the Arcsoft setting menu, so it seems its not a differant menu for differant tasks. I'm not to sure what the deal is. It has to be something with the registry settings. An uneeded string/Value, Something is interfering. I just haven't put my fingure on it. I am willing to mess with the registry under arcsoft. The worst damage I could do would be to have to use your three cabs to start over again.

in the reg, it is labled as samplemmsc under mm1 if you change it to cricket mmsc it will give you doubled servers, and you wont be able to delete either one.

Blade (or anyone else interested) I have edited a bunch, added, and changed things, it is not as easy as counting the stars in the sky. Since this is my first attempt ever, I'm sure there will be flaws, but I haven't givin up yet. I was going to make the cab so that cricket password was in it, but after thought, if password was in then it would not pop up to insert your phone number. You will need to myphonenumber@mycricket and password cricket. If I had the dough to purchase the program instead of 30 day trial ($100 so don't offer to donate for my work) I would tell you to PM your phone number and I would make you a specific cab for you only (per person). I have had some luck with getting phone to come on, so I can test before posting.

When done, you shouldn't need to soft reset after mms comes. (shouldn't now but sometimes data refuses to disconnect)

The hofo dunk OS is out of date, try newer roms, I suggest energy's roms.

Wifi router cab below. Search forum for more info if needed.

Is that limited speed over ICS only for Cricket? Is it that slow even with EVDO Rev A? I've done the same with an LG Dare on Verizon (in EVDO country) and got 500k download easy tethered over USB to my Desktop.

yep, cricket is really that slow. they have a proxy server and they limit it to that speed. if you got it runnig, with internet explorer (not opera it wont work) hit speedtest.net and using just cricket connection try yourself. you will need flash player 7 with active x installed to view site.

I had this problem to. I just deleted one String and left the other alone under the MMSCSettings root of the registry then soft reset and everything was fine from there.

I was wondering that to. When I'm showing 1X the phone seems to take longer or not even connect at all to the interwebs. When I'm EV its good. Its just probably the signal strength in the area of town I'm in. Does this have alot to do with the PRL, or even the Radio version? I'm currently using Telus Radio 1.04.05V


okay the snag has been fixed. There where some Registry values I deleted along with some I edited. For some strang yet odd reason I had X-VzW-MDN String along with the normal X-Cricket-MDN. Deleted that and changed WAPType to 1 from 0. I didn't realize it was set to 0, and deleted a few string values that had the mention of alltel in them. Everything is working 100%

cab almost there. got remove pic to take, but no on dcd, and partial on alltel with some of reg edits for cricket. Will make other attempts tomorrow. No pro, so it has been trial and error. Sorry.

im looking for a alltel to cricket...so im no good at programming or anything but if u need pc power i can do that if u need me 2 compile something large or whatever let me know how i can help...

i don't know what pc power is or what it is for.

I can only program my phone to work on cricket (sprint branded) if you have an alltel phone you are trying to get to cricket, I can try and help.

Other than that, I have no programing skills at all.

Sorry guys, I switched to sprint. I still have wifes diamond on cricket, but don't know how long. My screen died completely and I was tired of cricket speed (or lack of). The 3 cabs I posted are last effort for getting cricket working on roms. You could also use sprint mms and document attached. The doc is how to set up carrier not using dcd cab and regedits for mms and wap. It is the info I was trying to convert with my cab build. If you want to have a pro work on it, point it to ryan mogul.
