I do appreciate it. All the Cricket help is good help. It takes a lot of time to configure a rom for cricket. Not easy like the Sprint & Verizon boys

Ok ... How about this.... Then go tell them Sprint & VZW boys .. to bend over!

Install ANY ROM, then as soon as your done skipping the setup screens or what not (hell, they may even skip on some roms) Just install the 2 cabs below in order (INSTALL TO DEVICE, NOT SDCARD) and call in the day ..

WAP & MMS All setup, no need to do NOTHING to any kind of ANYTHING..

No 5 hour regedits or connection setups... these cabs are PERFECT, and ready for cricket internet/mms

Takes all of about 3 minutes ... unless your just retar.... anywhooo...

Can skip 1st cab if your rom has NO ARCSOFT installed..

Also after reboot of installation of the 2nd cab, YOU MUST GO AND RUN OPERA OR IE FIRST .. so you can pop your 10digitnumber in and the password and check save password.

Thats all ... All done ... WAP and settings, all done, and AFTER you make that first connection using a browser, go ahead and send a PIC Message and smile because it was really that freaking easy...

-Disclaimer I guess:

A) I didn't make these cabs, found then here/xda or something ..
B) You still need to do whatever in QPST/EPST or what not to flash the phone.
C) I dunno, but i'm sure theres something else so whatever..

These are -0- regedit ... period.. -0- MMS Configuration .. And if we had a standard user/pass instead of using a phone number, you wouldn't have to do anything.

Any Custom Rom, 5.0, 6.1, 6.5 .. Touch Pro, TP2, Touch, Omnia, Wing, MDA, Tilt, .. Verizon Device, Sprint Device, Alltel Device, Non-Branded..... CDMA or GSM ... dun matter... Install, put in your phone #/password and go ...

Thats great info you have but it still requires getting in the registry, setting up the connection and setting the mms server. Pretty much the same as most all other posts still confusing the novice (n00bz) people..

The main focus of idea is to make getting cricket wap and mms on this device (and others) not to be a pain in the a** ...

Flashing and SPL is covered thouroughly..and after which popping a custom rom on is simple... but getting MMS/Wap configured for Cricket... thats where the hell is. There are a gazillion posts that say different things and half of them work for one-quarter of the people.

These cabs are pretty bland, basic and to the point. -Just Install-
It sets/removes registry items CORRECTLY.. It sets up the arcsoft mms settings CORRECTLY and it sets up the wap dial-up connection CORRECTLY.

Pretty much plug and play....

This is for the most part, the final and correct working solution to date.

From reading thru the thread, and previous post/replies, sorry if you feel like you got stepped on, but the posts are to help make it easier for others to setup their device and sorry to say, this is the easiest and most accurate and alot easier than anything previously posted by ANYONE in THIS THREAD..

-0- regedits, speaker icon is missing, battery icon stuck at 100% even on dead battery. Any rom you use it on, sys admin msg sent notice wont stop going off. Advanced config cant stop it, tp tweaks found in nrg rom cant stop it.

Way I instructed, battery icon is not affected, speaker icon stays, and only in nrg rom have i found the sys admin sent notice can't be stopped. It give instructions, links to diff threads with diff ways, that diff people have found to work. Not just mine. It is a matter of pref for noobs or vets of the game, what are you willing to put up with? One time setup, or constantly having to hear the phone go off when you press send? Finding you have a dead battery when you push talk and it shuts off, or knowing it's coming. Any way you look at it. Something is going to be a pain and you have to find the pain you can live with.

And if you read this thread completly, we are in works of coming up with a single cab that has all the PIA info I posted.

I too would like a Cricket 6.5 rom with the latest goodies.
I extracted the contents of Drunk's rom, but I am not a chef by a long shot. I will try to see what I can do, might fail miserably though.
If anything I just want MMS to work when I install arcsoft in a rom I've had problems with, such as EnergyRom.

i too made an attempt to extract (or dump) his rom and managed to take it from an nbh file to an nb file which i still am unabe to view. i cant cook, and haven't figured how to dump a rom. If i could, and could get it into my visual kitchen, or my ppckitchen, then i would be able to do that with all roms and recook for cricket. haven't gave up, just unable to get on pc today.
