I did not create this cab and can't be sure where I found it but it makes entering bootloader automatic. Install it to your device find it in you program menu tap the exe and it puts your device straight into bootloader. This prevents you from having to be a contortionist to do it with the volume, power, soft reset trick. Once you initiate the program it goes to bootloader sees that you have a rom on your storage card and then goes to the menu that says push power to flash. Enjoy

Edit:Cab file came from here

Re: unlock, flash and even relock your TP via the SD card!

put nuestorage on your phoned device memory before you run it. note when it formats it will wipe the card so put the nbh in device memory too.

try this. remove battery for a few minutes, then after you put it back in, hold in the volume down and power button and tap the reset button and continue holding volume down and power button until you see the tri-color screen. then connect to computer and flash the shipped rom here http://www.htc.com/us/SupportDownloa...at=2&dl_id=683

hey cornelious when r we getting this for the touch pro2! the one thing i loved about my tp was flashing unlocking and relocking via mcsd but unfortunately you cant flash unlock via mcsd yet on the tp2...

Re: unlock, flash and even relock your TP via the SD card!

I'm actually in talks with Cmonex of testing a different version of her HSPL. currently all SD flashing is disabled in the TP2. Soon as I get the new version and test it, I will post a guide, unfortunately even if i get the new version and it works well, the unlock process will need to be performed from the computer.

I am not sure if I relocked my phone correctly. I put a new rom on my SD card and flash it with no problems, and now I put the relocker on my SD and and did the vol down, power, and reset and I keep getting the message "loading..." is it going to load or is there something wrong?

I am the proud owner of an Alltel Touch Pro but have a mac as my computer for many reasons over having a pc. I didn't think I would have the capability to flash my phone at any point until I saw this. I have successfully flashed and installed my first ROM. Thanks!!!!

when you relock are you using the sspl to enter bootloader?

bootloader meaning the tri coloed screen? if so, I click the vol down, power, and reset button.

Got a quick question for you mate. Can this same process be followed to flash a new radio? If so where do you place the file before flashing? In the main memory or in the root of the sd card? Thanks again!

yes. just follow the instructions under "FLASHING" in the first post.

Please disregard my last post. I figured it out. It's the exact same process.

then your not following the relocking instructions in the guide. use the SSPL-Manual.exe to enter bootloader and let me know if that changes your situation. I believe you are running into the overwrite protection built into cmonex's unlocker.

Re: unlock, flash and even relock your TP via the SD card!

I've run into a little problem, and I've tried to search the thread to no avail.

I'm trying to unlock my phone, so I followed the steps. I downloaded the proper unlocker and saved it to the right place. I downloaded the IMG file and saved it to the right place. When I click on the .exe, the bootloader loads and quickly says something like "No Image File". Is there something I'm doing wrong? Something I've forgotten?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Yep! Everything's unzipped! The .exe is on my phone and the IMG file is in the root of my sd card.

Re: unlock, flash and even relock your TP via the SD card!

have you flashed a rom before using that SD card? if what you tell me is correct (the image is named RAPHIMG.nbh, in the right location, sspl-manual.exe is on your phone) then my guess is that your SD card is not formatted correctly.

Hi, I think im confussing myself. would you or someone please give me step by step instructions explaining on how to relock my phone please. thank you.

cornelious2 11-07-2009 11:44 AM

Re: unlock, flash and even relock your TP via the SD card!

that would be the first post lol.

step 1 flash the stock shipped(not dumped) rom onto your phone
step 2 download the sspl-manual.exe file linked here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...1&d=1225521707

step 3 download the sprint relocker from the first post.
step 4 unzip sprintrelocker.zip and place the RAPHIMG.nbh file onto your sd card (on the root aka not in any folders)
step 5 place sspl-manual.exe onto your phones memort (not on the sd card)
step 6 click sspl-manual.exe to bring you into the bootloader (do not use vol down + power in this case)
step 7 press power to flash when prompted
At this point if you get a rom boot code error when trying to start your phone just flash the stock rom one more time.

Re: unlock, flash and even relock your TP via the SD card!

Ahhhhhh! I formatted it to just plain-old FAT instead of FAT32. I never would've thought that was the problem. Thanks a bunch, everything works now!
