Help!!!! Touch Pro Raphael Beta?!?! - Page 2

I can get into my bootloader manually. I get the rainbow screen with this:

RAPH800
SPL-0.37.CMONEX
MicroP-Hermann (LED) v0C85
Psoc-Raph STAGE_EVT v20

I don't have any kind of MicroSD card at the moment.

Any hope?

go grab his newest 4.12 dl the file on your pc there will be a file inside the rar called RUU_signed.nbh copy that file to a new folder or your desktop. Rename the file to RAPHIMG.nbh drop it onto the root of your sd card hold the power button down on your phone wile holding the volume down button soft reset keep holding power and volume down till you see the tri color screen. it will load to a gray screen with blue text if sucessful and ask you to press the power button to start the upgrade ... wait for it to upgrade takes about 5 min or so .... once update complete appears above the progress bar soft reset again .... wait for it to do the first boot it will take a while ... you should be golden after that... if having issues hit me up on aim or messenger my links are in this post upper right corner.

you should have the stock 512mb card that will work << forgot tp's come with 1gb moguls came with the 512mb

If not put the phone into bootloader and just click the Custom_RUU.exe from within the RUU of the jucy rom... was posting above while u posted u didn't have a card... Bummer as they r really cheap and u can get a 8gb from newegg for 15.75 shipped

I just got a 2GB card from Radio Shack for $7.99 (I had sent the other one back to HTC with my 1st TP by mistake after re-flashing my stock ROM.) Or you can try a previous suggestion and try to install from your computer with the phone already in bootloader mode by running the RUU. I always flash from my card though....

EDIT: Don't forget to format the card to FAT32 from your computer.

Thanks for all the help guys....

By going into Bootloader I finally got RUU to link to the phone and am currently downloading the new Juicy ROM.....I will update you guys shortly after I try to install it..... Sucks b/c I did a hard reset before I knew you could just "Upgrade" the Rom and seeing as how it's never been synced to my new PC all my contacts are surely gone....ah well.....I just want to make a call....LOL

awesome, hope it works for you, and that's kind of crappy about losing your contacts and stuff, but for an FYI this is what I use to back up my contacts (and it's free)

http://www.dotfred.net/ it's called PIM backup..

I have it set so it automatically backups my contacts each night to my storage card, so if an issue like that happens again you can just quickly restore from your storage card.

EDIT: Juicy probably has that program included in his ROM.

there's no such thing as "Upgrading" a rom, you're basically doing a fresh reinstall everytime you flash

is the old pc trashed ? if not you can copy your contacts from office to the new pc then sync it up that way... if the cpu or something else failed and u still have acess to the hard drive that was in the pc you can copy over the outlook files to the new pc's office dir and get them that way... you also may not be that worried about your contacts... For future i would suggest a microsd card and pim backup its freeware and u can save all your pim info to a file on storage card or file in memory (you would have to backup save it to pc or e-mail it to yourself and re dl to storage after hard reset or reflash)

Ok, well now I'm trying to install the new juicy rom....

I have to reconnect the phone and go into bootloader about three times before RUU will connect..

When I finally get to the Update Rom screen I select the New Juicy rom and press update...

it shows 0% on the PC screen and doesn't do anything to the phone, then comes up with recovery options which I've tried but to no avail.....

Any suggestions?

are you able to flash via your storage card?
