I am on Sprint as well, did a hard reset after flashing and I have not had any issues with repeating texts.

I love the battery performance. I couldnt go a half day with out charging on my last (energy rom). Now, i can go about two good days.

But i miss having the phone stay on when i hit power with my head jack plugged in. The menus are soo freakin large! So much stuff is not installed that i have to look for... but in a lot of ways, i like my roms clean... im torn

I think im going to spend the time customizing this rom to my likings, which could take hours, but if i get everything running id be happy
Start with sdconfig.txt - That will allow partial customizations.

You could also mess with this tool:
SASHIMI - http://www.winmo-experts.com/index.php
It will take some time to learn but flashing will be made easy.

Re: [ ROM ] [ KITCHEN ] JUICY 8 - Build 090618 (21815.5.0.50) [UC]

I just realized i wasn't receiving calls, I reinstalled the dialer, didn't work, I was able to call people, but people sitting right next to me called my phone n it want to voicemail. I did a hard reset and left the phone without the battery in for a couple hours and all is well now. I'm on Sprint, anyone have anything similar happen to them??

This is the first Juicy rom that I've used that I'm going to have to get rid of in less than a day. My battery life has been sub-par at best. In addition, trying to text is a nightmare. When I get a text, and touch it to respond, it takes over 5 (five) seconds before the HTC Messaging interface crap loads up, then I open the keyboard, and have to touch the text box because the curser isn't there automatically. It's a shame there isn't a version of this rom without the newer, lousy, TF3d.

I had to quickly flash to a new rom also after a few hours of use...I don't know if it was just me but this rom ran very sluggish and would hang for a sec while scrolling in titanium and start menu....

Re: [ ROM ] [ KITCHEN ] JUICY 7 - Build 090530 (21725.5.0.2) [UC]

So, I have been ridiculously busy the last little while, and haven't really had time to keep up on the forum, so I just skimmed through it from where I left off, and looks like a lot has happened in the meantime

Thanks for the answer, but that is not quite what I was looking for, I just wondered why the ## codes didn't work anymore in the beta, and have since tested with J7 and they worked fine, and have also seen a couple other ppl ask about this as well, so it seems to be an issue with the new dialer. I found a work around by just making a shortcut from my SD card (so it doesn't get deleted if I hard reset, or flash) to the programs in question, example: fieldtrial.lnk epst.lnk

Hope this helps the other few ppl asking how to open field test mode.

Now, on the other hand however, I did have a chance to glance at that thread you linked to, and it does look like a worthwhile read, so I will have to try to do so when I have the time, thanks!

Still haven't had any luck finding a mod to replace the signal strength bars with a decibel SNR reading though, if anyone happens to know where I can find one, that would be cool

---

I am really excited to try the new release, as it seems to be getting really good reviews from everyone, and am quite thankful to Juicy for all the hard work, and time spent, and can empathize with him on the trouble he encountered in the latter couple beta's.
I am still on the Beta 2 (even though I dl'd beta3, I just didn't have time to try it) so it looks like I'm in for a real treat!

I did a hard reset after flashing, I also do not use PIMbackup. I use MS Myphone. I went ahead and did another hardreset anyway and it seemed to fix the problem.
