I concur, Twikini works great. It is small, fast and easy to use. Try it out, it is free. I actually bought it - stimulating the economy, with PowerSMS.

I use it too as part of my sdconfig.txt, it really works well.

Another thing I am noticing is horrible battery life. I have just been using casually today and I am already at 35%. Ill try to reflash tonight maybe that will fix it.

Definitely do reflash. I have rockin battery life.
All my signal strengths are nearly full... but I've been using wifi (medium power) for like 3-4 hours straight and I only dropped below 50% battery after a couple minutes on a long phonecall.
-watched a few videos with HTCYouTube app.
-Browsed through ppcgeeks for almost an hour.
-Watched Inspired Bicycles - Danny MacAskill April 2009 in IE6 (I like the fullcreen playing ability of FlashLite)
-Installed a few extra apps to try out.
-Realized that HTCtaskmanager was "minimizing apps when tap X" instead of closing them... and started to like it that way. Thanks Juicy. Hadn't tried that in a while.
and I was still between 50-60% battery.

-I do use fdcTaskmanager t disable the OBEX service, since I never use it.
-I set my calls to use EVRC-B (instead of EVRC) just to test it out. I read that there are 4 vocoding sample rates, instead of three, so I figured I'd abuse my newfound batterylife

Hunh...I thought the battery life was *better*. Here are my notes on Beta 2:

- Flashed, then hard reset.
- Memory usage 44% after configuring Activesync last night. But, checked again this AM, was down to 38%! Now (5:40PM), hovering around 42%.
- MyPhone wanted to update itself - new version is 1.01.1720.0000
- GPS lock in about 15 seconds, looks like it's set up to use Telus AGPS servers (216.198.139.92:8889)
- After 8 hours with light usage, battery at 80%.

hi juicy i d loaded juicy 8 beta 2 but the sys says it is not the 21806 but only the 21234
build what happen did i or did you posted the wrong link ????

so i was on 4.7 and then did a sprite backup now on the new beta and did a restore and everything works but my manilla is different than the new one i have my old one and i have no clue what else i might have messed up any ideas?
