-Oh, also, neither YouTube, OCZ Messenger, AIM Mobile, or Windows Marketplace work.

I had the same problem with the txt, and freezing.

I was running Juicy 090713H up until yesterday afternoon and I had loaded the Marketplace app and it logged in and ran fine. I then re-flashed to another ROM and now it will not log in.

I am definitely having the same problem with Opera, Windows Marketplace and AIM (I'm getting an error: "Authentication server error 1359".
I've also experience issues with the phone freezing, but it seems to me that it "wakes up" after about 10-15 seconds, I've only encountered this when using the soft keyboard though.

I don't suppose anyone knows where I can find a version Opera Mobile that works properly with the zooming.

yeah he no longer owns a vga device so he cant really work on the ROM like he usually does....i had to move on to something else in the meantime, at some point its a pretty unusable phone and i cant really have that...

I have had a problem with this ROM in regards to the keyboard. I have seen this in the past couple releases as well. The keyboard will seem to give off some random characters to programs that are using it. Example: iambic agendus soon as the program starts a random 'something' starts up an unwanted meeting. Hit delete and it will do the same right afterwards. I have seen similar things in other programs. Installing a different keyboard will sometimes right the problem. Often other keyboards will do the same thing. ROM thing?

I'm not clear on why it's running on some builds and not others. Here's a post I found that describes the same thing that I'm experiencing:

The problem is something to do with "missing Live ID Credentials." I tried running Windows Live and logging in, then reinstalling the Marketplace, but that didn't help at all .

I'm pretty sure the Ezinput in this build is what's causing the slowdowns.

Here's what I did to rectify the issue (until Juicy comes up with a fix ):

1) Install FingerKeyboard 2.1, VGA version.

2) Delete the registry key HLKM\ControlPanel\Input\Redirect

3) Soft reset

4) Navigate to Settings -> Personal -> Input. This options panel should now be shown.

5) Change the "Input method:" from "Touch Input" to "FingerKeyb"


I found that when I did this, even the random freezes when booting up have stopped happening. Haven't had lots of time to confirm that the SIP was the issue, but try it out!


Edit: darn, the default SIP doesn't stick. Well, I've been using nueCPL-Sliding to assign the SIP anyways, so maybe you can try that or something like SIPChange instead

Are you using 090922H? I tried both the reinstall of the posted cab as well as the registry edit and still no success, just a "serious error" upon startup.

Some people with previous versions of Juicy 8 have had success, but seems like no luck so far for 090922H.
