I was just coming on here to post about this. For me it was impossible to use voicemail, and automated numbers (press 2 for .... press 5 for ...) becuase the screen was always turning off and going to the home screen. Well i just came across a program yesterday that works extremely well for this. It blanks the screen when its by your ear, and turns it back on to the dialer when you take it away from your ear!!! Also you lay the phone flat and it will turn speakerphone on. Works extremely well. Its on XDA and called in screen call tweak. Not really that interested in doing that with my Touch pro. Help please.
Try this for the ezinput SIP problem...

That fixed the issue I had back in the Juicy 4.7 days (numlock appeared to be on). No Joy this time around, the damn numpad is permanently stuck as the SIP.

I keep reading all this hype about the ezinput keyboard. I've used it and still don't think it's better than "finger keyboard 2.1". Why is everyone so excited about ezinput? I must be missing something. Have you guys tried finger keyboard 2.1?

I have used the finger keyboard on the diamond and it fitted the phone perfectly but felt different on the pro, that may sound strange but its true, that is why I ahve not switch to the finger keyboard yet

Exclamation Re: [ ROM ] [ KITCHEN ] JUICY 8 - Build 090723 (21828.5.0.60) [UC]

Hi,

I really like this version as it has removed many bugs from prior versions. Now I have one big issue with this version, the Phone Options (Phone->Menu->Options) isn't working, I get the following message:

The file 'PHSettingDual cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file'.

I didn't find the file in the Windows directory, I will see if I can get it out of some other ROM. In case I am not successful, can anybody help me out with the registry keys I would need to edit to disable "Auto Prepend" and "Plus Code Dialing"?

Regards

Edit: Thank you covkid66 for the CommManager alternative to access Phone Settings. Now I no longer need to reflash the phone.

Has anyone run into any issues with Opera in the latest ROM? Mine won't load any pages at all. At first I thought it was my internet access, but Pocket Outlook downloads messages fine, and IE can load pages as well. Opera just sticks at about 1/4" of progress bar...never loads anything.

[Edit]
Okay, nevermind. I figured it out. The opera config files had a proxy server configured - wireless.cingular.com. I imagine they probably don't let Sprint customers use it.

Changing all the Proxy options from 1 to 0 in the config files resolved it.
