Yes I think so too. Not sure what things will look like. I may just include older packages in the kitchen when it is released... i.e. manila 1.2 for those who prefer it over 2.0. same goes for the EzInput

Spot on!!! Couldn't have said it better if I'd tried. The other reason is the ever present support. Just finished flashing and have everything reinstalled / setup, and must say this is fast and no issues with stability as yet.

Thanks for all your hard work Juicy...hope you manage to get your hands on a TP2 !! I saw CAD$249 on a 3yr though...ouch

Another awesome release Juicy.
I've flashed and hard reset and found some minor issues:
Can't terminate opera browser through task manager
Calendar tab in manila is non responsive e.g. clicking on new appointment has no effect

thats about it for me. besides that, still one of the most responsive and cutting edge roms out.

sidenote. Just happened to be watching How I Met Your Mother and the episode bashes Canadians.

Whether it's friendly comp between you both ... i'm in both line's .. TaKe it In .. You're aloud .!! LOL

Edit: You deserve a Tp2 Fund!!

Unless something has changed, I thought the only way to close out of Opera was to use Opera's own menu and select the Exit option, and then answer OK to to the "Are you sure you want to exit" prompt.

newer Task Manager builds hide the opera process. even if you remove the exclusive registry edit. I may go to an older build as this is pissing me off.

For the people already using the rom and don't want to reflash how can you disable the auto starting and restarting of opera I have looked and have had no luck. I removed the bootlauncher key also but it still is loading.

It's easy to claim no bugs when you don't dabble beyond registry edits lol

This will feature some nice things thought. Namely the first cooked rom containing 20779.1.4.11 (German SYS for Raphael) and newer true VGA packages (Manila 1.2.384xxx)
Well....I'm excited to try this out. Juicy if the manilla 2.5 software leaks soon do you think that you would throw it in a rom for us guys that still have the TP? I don't think that I will be able to afford a new phone for a while.

Juicy, my two cents on your dilemma if you don't mind..

As a software engineer myself (though I don't cook), I understand the satisfaction of working on projects like this. But I also know its a whole lot more fun when you are using what you create. You won't be able to do that on a Blackberry.

Also, I think you should take donations. I find it somewhat silly to be basing your decision at least partially on cost when you have a revenue stream waiting for you to do what you love to do. Cap it at just the cost of a TP2 if you like.

And of course, the TP/TP2 are much more capable phones/devices than any Blackberry, ever...

Also, your latest ROM does seem to be faster than the others, but I think it may be because its more consistent in time for things like screen rotation than the others, either way, GREAT WORK!
