touchflo is removed

touchflo3d can't be removed (not easily atleast) but you can just disable it in the today screen settings.

naything thats built in cannot be remove just disable only, if you dont want TF3D then look for a ROM that its not loaded or if its this port then you can reload the older version...

any chance of seeing a juicy rom without TF3D? TF3D in its current state is less than desirable

if you disable tf3d it doesn't use any memory, just storage space...

why not just disable it?

I'm sure there are better places to ask this question, but: Which file is the background image in TF3D2? I want to copy it so that I can use it as a wallpaper elsewhere, lock screen for instance so that it matches the TF3D2 screen.

TF3D2 is buggy, but I don't experience the bugs cause I don't use it for the features people are having issues with so it works fine for me and I really really like it. TF3D1 is so blah in comparison. Anyhow, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you can install an older version of manila in cab form if you would like to go back to tf3d1 instead, which should work just fine.

I believe it's two files...


70083a29_manila bg_level0.qtc (top portion)
77feee1d_manila bg_level0_bottom.qtc (bottom portion)


EDIT: Here is the default background. I pulled it from the two manila files above, converted to png, combined the images, and resized it to be 480x640.

I included the original and the resized one.

It's orignally 480x698 when I combined them, not sure why...

EDIT2: Just figured out that the landscape background are different files, I think you probably want the portait one though.

Fast, stable, and not too much of a battery or memory hog on my end. my memory always hovers around 60%, all day. I do not use the following tabs: music, people, stocks. I think the music tab slows things down especially when you have 8 gigs of music. I use s2p because it recognizes all music files on my card, (for some reason, neither HTC Audio nor WMP will recognize 2 specific music folders on my device). Anyhow, I don't seem to be having the same experience as you.
