Re: 4 APR 09 - UPD 23: SSK 1.6 Rev A - 12 OS'es to cook with, 9 Bonus ROM's!!!

Hey impudent, are you using S2U2? Are you having any luck with it? For me it seems to take too long to lock and when I disconnect a call with my BT headset, the screen comes back on unlocked. Any ideas?

It could also be that I was bedazzled by the new layout of the website; I got lost in the colors and messed my versioning up. New site is easy to use and deservers a big Gratzs =D>to Scott
Bad news, you are wrong for the first time this year! I've been toying with 21028 for about a month.

Simple... Download Cab2OEM
http://www.4shared.com/file/76458591...b/Cab2OEM.html

Drag cab file into the Cab2Oem.exe... It'll create a OEM...

Dump it in yer OEM folder in yer kitchen.

DONE SON!

Damn son, if its that easy...I owe you a beer! I've been trying all these modifying programs, reading these wiki threads, man, it looks way harder than that. Lets say I threw one of the OEM's in Scott's kitchen, in the OEM folder....it will automatically install without even picking it in the kitchen? And what about the order of installs? Like lets say I make an OEM for a battery driver but what the taskbar installed AFTER that, how do I make that happen?

Why do you feel the need to Doubt...

Cab2OEM creates the option.xml FOR YOU in the OEM package folder...

this means BuildOS will give you a check-able choice when you build...

IF BuildOS crashes, it means you have another Option.xml calling the Exact same name...

Hey RONMAC I cooked a rom with SSK 1.5C2 and 21198 with TP2 and it is working great loading with no problems and no lockups or freezing. Will run for a few days and see how it goes.

The only downside of CAB2OEM is....

It will NOT do HUGE cabs with MANY+ files...

Typically only manila packages are over 1000 in number of files. which you don't want to do anyway because it gets a bit more complicated.

you can certainly do the LONGER way... at times that is required for packages that require DSM files... I think this is all covered in the XDA wiki...

JT one more thing....what about the order of the installs? How can I change that if I wanted something to be installed before something else?

And yes, one of the OEM's is for the Rhodium manila with almost 1100 files. It created the OEM, but you're thinking it may not install correctly right?
