Oh and if I was mad I wouldnt be re-basing the ROM as I type this ;c)

The pedometer is a G-sensor app. It has nothing to do with GPS...and I'll answer your other question as soon as I stop laughing.........NO, I've never done an OEM in my life....you forget, I'm a hardware man.

I forget exactly what the error messages were, but something like "can't find mailowner.cab is the first one, the about a dozen "Can't find options.xml". I have to click each one until it finally clears. Then I remove the SD card and start all over again.

I assume you're talking about TF3D Config. The 2 tweak files are in Post #580 and Digital Attic's cab with them included is in #721. Both those posts still exist.
Other apps that I use:
1) TRACKME - I've gotten to like it and use it on all trips so people know exactly where I am

2) Batti - It's a visual batttery Indicator - creates a thin colored line across the top that tells you instantly what the battery level is at a glance. Unfortunately, the project was discontinued, but the app is stable at Vers 2.4. I think it's the best battery indicator out there. and doesn't take up any screen space.

If I think of others, I'll let you know.

Edit: You can see if you can definitely determine whether the battery issues are hardware or software related. I know, that's probably a monsterous task.....but you asked for suggestions
