I bet you can imagine from my lack of posting, that this thing has been eating up a lot of time. I should have specified, I know all the basic chords, but couldn't ever get them to sound like a song. I have found that by dumping MP3's into this thing, I can slow down the music enough to hear what is actually going on with the guitar parts. I've made a huge leap in ability in the last 2 days. I'm thinking that I should drive down to the music store, and kick the livin' **** out of the guy who gave me lessons. I paid the same amount for this as I did lessons, and nothing ever clicked there! Seriously, I want to go slap the taste out of his mouth.

as far as "Can't stand the heat", I love that post Bob. I'm pretty sure you know I respected you before that post, but it went up a notch.

According to the demographics people have posted, I'm the old man (let's make that senior citizen) of the group....kinda like Luke Skywalker's father in Star Wars....or Yoda....I guess I also qualify as a "dirty old man".....since I'm always flashing. Maybe some day I'll qualify as a Wise Man (and I didn't say wise-@ss).

If anyone else is over 65....Let us know....I feel lonesome and would like some company.
