Definatley, no question about it. I have been running on a 20931 build for a few weeks now, and it is extremely stable. I've only had one or two lockups, both which happened while I was doing something and are not the fault of the OS. I've gone 5 days without a soft reset, and could really get away with longer if I wanted to push it (I typically do it every 2-3 days just for good measure and force of habit).

20764 is also very stable, and is the last official ROM release. The 210xx builds are definately quicker, but are generally less stable, or haven't been out long enough to tell for certain how stable they are.

SSK 1.5 with either 20764 or 20931 will be very stable and reliable. SSK 1.6 final non-beta is probably going to be finished soon, but it hasn't had quite the shakedown 1.5 has, so a few minor issues may remain. There a couple nice additions in 1.6, but depending on how you load out your ROM you may not need them.
