my **** is hosed! i can't get to the system settings... it ALWAYS locks up...

I'm using Former's new XIP...
Bored's SYS

Calcu's 21028 is causing the Storage Card to Internal Memory issue...

I did have some of my personal OEM's in mine but even after I ripped it out... it locks up and ****!

I dunno what it is...

I've gone back to 21028/18/32 hybrid again.

I think that leaving it as is works well. For most users, they are either going to use it, or not. Advanced users who want to tweak it should have the knowledge to go to the registry for changes, or are familiar with PPC Geeks, or XDA and can import whatever changes they personally want. For the masses though, I think it's either the "whole package"or nothing....depending on their tastes.

I have a thought. There is a reason you have a large following of new users. SSK or as I prefer KISS (keep it simple stupid). If it becomes more complex, you are going to have 1 of 2 things arise:

1: new people will destroy what personal life you have with questions that may seem generic to people who have been doing this for 2 months.

2: You and your helpful followers will become extremely hesitant to help those with "lesser experience" due to the complexity.

BUT, there is a known fix to correct that issue. I posted the link to the cab a few pages ago.

Search for "Calkulin's Sprint TV Fix.cab" It takes care of the 7004 error most of the time.

I think thats untrue impudent1, we are all here to help and help as much as we can. Scott has a choice to stop whenever he wants i bet he knows when to stop. Like he says he enjoys doing this for himself and loves spreading the joy in my opnion. I notice Jucy,froader and yourself helps alots and lets keep it like that, thats why are community is growing and why Scotts roms are improving because of all the questions.
