Do you have TouchFLo Activated to use on the today screen/

Go to Settings/Today/Items and make sure the TouchFlo 3D box is checked.
Say OK, then soft reset.

If that doesn't work, it's possible that you had a bad download. I'd re-download the Core Kitchen, and also the OS that you want to you. I'd suggest that you try using either the 764 OS or the 931 OS to see if they work better for you. After you get one of those working correctly, then you can retry 21015. Also, make sure that you have the TouchFlo Items check in the BuildOS screen.

yes, i did EVERYTHING twice. i'm cooking my own rom using scotts c2 rev kitchen, checking the proper settings. i can't think what would make it do that...

I can't think of what the problem could be either. It seems like you must have missed something. Let's start from the very beginning and try again.
1) Make Sure that the phone is unlocked.
2) Download the Core Kitchen C2 and the OS
3) Copy the OS SYS and ROM files into the C2 Kitchen
4) Remove the SD Card.
5) Connect the Phone via Active Sync and make sure that it is synced.
6) Click on the xxx.BAT file to start the build.
7) To be sure there is no problem, only use a minimum number of items from the BuildOS screen. Since you want TouchFlo, make sure that you use all items labled "HTC****" and TouchFLo. Make sure that QuickGPS and HTCGPSTool are checked.
9) Double check to be sure where it says check only 1 box, that one, and ONLY 1 is checked (make sure there is any entry for each section)
10) When you are done, click on the "Play" button at the top of the BUILDOS screen. Watch the bottom status bar, and you should see the prgress. When the status bar says "DONE", use the RED "X" in the upper right corner to close the BUILDOS screen.
11) Everything else happens automatically.
12) Phone show the bootloader screen.
13) As the ROM is being loaded, you should see a progress bar both on the Pc and on the phone. At the end, it will say 10% completed and the phone will start rebooting.
14) Wait until the reloading and rebooting process is complete along with all the customizations.
15) Due a HARD RESET (because of your previous problems)
16) After the phone has rebooted, insert the SD card, and everything should be working fine.

Let me know if you have problems with any of the steps.

the basics are in place, i've been flashing for the past year with different roms and different phones, it's just this build is giving me touch flo issues...

Have you tried other builds from ssk kitchen? Have you used either B2B or R4R Roms to see if the issue persists throughout?

I would agree with Bob that something is missing from the manila setup that is cuasing it to try an load but then crash.

When you built the ROM in the kitchen, what version of TF3D did you select?

The more info the better so we can all help as much as possible.

Have you tried the clear storage and then reflashed using the kitchen?

I just flashed the B2B rom on my verizon touch pro and everything is working except when I play a video using windows media player the buttons/slidebar don't show up all I see is the video with the windows media player frame around it.

yup. i'm selecting everything possible for TF3D and choosing only one option for the cooking. other ROMs work great and I see you point about selecting the options for TF3D to work...
