I wanted to figure out a way to change the ISM from 64 to 32.... that would freee up 32 megs of RAM. Not even sure what it is though... Thats for the hardware guys like Bored.... Im a SYS and OEM guy... AKA OS guy...

Hmmm... the masses seem at odds on this one: it's pretty esoteric:

"ISM (Intimate Shared Memory) - which lets the device use RAM more efficiently- has doubled to 64MB, but that doesn’t compensate for total loss of memory which is sorely felt."

My wife is using the original 1.5 kitchen 21109 rom. Before the rom, she wanted to throw her phone away several times. Now, she loves it! Big Thanks!

She doesn't want me to flash it all the time, so I've been waiting for the most stable release. Is that 20931?

Thanks for the offer but I am fine. I used the B2B cause I wanted to use a total "Scottized" ROM. Normally I will use Scott's kitchen - I'd rather do UC. I keep all the cabs I like on my SD and then install quickly.

Tne other issue for me - forgot to mention and it is a big deal. Battery life. My stripped down version of the 20764 is the best on battery.

Like I said - I must be addicted to the flashing cause I come back to the 20764.

OK I have tried S2U2 and I have to say that beyond the password entry addition, this is the same on the face.

I am still having issues getting Klaxon to come through while the TP is off and getting phone calls to come through are an issue (that is my fault though since I have slide to answer cooked in).

I will continue to play later but now I am working on OEMizer and UC Autorun stuff.

This is so much more fun than work but I have to pay bills so it will be a slow process I guess

I am currently using your 1.2 Deluxe Edition.
What is tweaked and better in your 21015 build or your WM 21159 build.

Thanks
Joe
Joe, if you want a functioning phone for day to day, you don't want to use 21159, its WM 6.5 beta, and it has quirks. Its fun to play with, but I wouldn't try to actually use it for too long.

21015 is stable and pretty fast. There are a ton of Scott's groupies running that version, and limited complaints. The complaints that come in are from sprint users mostly. Also, you might want to skip the s2u2 package that comes with 21015 and install the newest version of that program after the flash.

I'm using a 21018 SYS+XIP right now, running at 10MB of PP on Verizon... 0 issues so far, Fast, Responsive... I don't think I'll flash again till scott's gets something new/better.

I flashed what I thought was 21018, but I have a conflict with what's reported back as being 21018... check yer PM when you get a chance.

Searching ISM is a life sucking waste of time. I have not found any information that was worth the time I spent reading. I'd like to have those 2 hours back.
