Re: *21 Feb* UPD 15: SSK 1.5M *8* OS Kitchen inc WM6.5 Build 21159 and OS 21015 ROM -

how is battery life with Scott's ROM? I am using TP on VZW, stock battery life is horrible (was using Scott's ROM on my 6800 previously). Was thinking about trying Scot's and Mike's. Thanks for the input.

The Audio fix cab I would remove the ( ). Then your gonna have to rename the cabs on your phone to match your SDconfig file.
Kyle,

That is sound advice and I will definitely do that (always takes another eye to popint out common sense things).

I will say however, that all the apps loaded to the phone once I removed Live Search and Windows Live.

Windows apps locking up a Windows phone? Who has ever heard of such an outrageous accusation

Overall, (not limiting it to just battery) I am completely pleased with Scott's work. The battery drain is not bad at all, but battery is completely subjective. There are way too many variables to have a legitimate answer for that question.

Battery life is one of those things that depends on so many factors but the truth is I find Scott's ROMS a bit better than stock.
I use Exchange (push) and have 2 pop accounts checking every 2 hours and windows live to check hotmail every 2 hours.
At home my battery will last a day and a half but here at work I get half a day (bad signal strength here in the office).
So again, I think battery life is subjective.

As far as Mighty's ROM is concerned, I tried it a few revisions ago and thought it was nice but you will definitely run into out of memory errors. I stated earlier that it left me with something like 33% free ram on boot with TF3D running.

Scott's ROMs are great because Scott has felt our pain when it comes to the lack of 128 meg of RAM for our VZW Touch Pros so he developes his ROMs with the limited memory in mind. All other ROMs are built with all kinds of bloat since they have the extra 128 meg. They can also run with a page pool of 32 meg because they have plenty to spare.

Hope that helped and wasn't too wordy.

Hi My name is Tony, and I'm a flash-a-holic it's been nearly 13 hours since my last flash. And if you have not tried 20594, it's awesome! I set the PP to 10 this time, and like McDonalds, I'm Lovin' It!

Not one bug to report at this time.

It still hung up but once I did a soft reset, all was loaded and seemed fine.

I am going to cook with RevC2 kitchen and 21109 sys and leave out S2U2 and see if that helps.

Keep you posted.

Enjoy the VACA and have fun with the Diamond.

Let us know what your service is like between where home and there and back again please.

BTW, What is the 9th SYS and XIP setup or did I read that wrong?

Are you holding out on us?

You're doing all our wives/girlfriends a favor by going on vacation, have a great time! I personally intend to start probing into other areas instead of flashing every 300 minutes.
