Ron, and Bob, thanks for articulating the point I was trying to make. Sometimes I just assume people know me well enough to know what I mean.

Great catch on the camera flash, I should have known that would be an issue since the diamond doesn't have the light. I tried Htorch after reading that post. Htorch is possibly my favorite app when I need it.

Did you happen to notice the advanced capture modes on the camera? 21159 had probably the most responsive camera (less focus time, quicker pics) but this is sweet.

Geez Impudent, you're not a Noob. You should have known that saying thanks isn't enough. YOU NEED TO HIT THE BUTTON on the post (just joking). Yea, I like Htorch also.
About the Diamond Camera - I noticed an option for for "GPS Photo". Don't remember if it's in the TP camera or not, but what's it do. I tried that mode, and expected to see the lat/long displayed in the pic, or at least in the Pic "Properties", but couldn't find any reference to it. It looked like a standard pic, and yes, my GPS was turned on.

I agree Htorch is awesome!! I have been using it for a while. Using it now to make due on the camera untill its fixed

I did notice something new, not sure if its a bug or just me being a noob, but here goes:

phone connected to PC
screen toggles between light and dim
clicked on notification soft key, then dismiss soft key (5 new emails)
phone reverted back to normal (went dim)

cooked with the black manila if that matters.

I know that phattooth managed to upload some pics to his west coast trip on trackme. The pics would populate the map at his current position. I know he did a lot of work unlocking aspects of his camera, and cabbed it up at one point. This is purely speculation though.

**EDIT** Scott, I sent you an email at scrosler.com I created an OEM but it shows up in buildOS a little funky (screenshots included) I spent 3 hours trying to figure out how to do it right..... then sent you an email.

**EDIT2** Never mind, it jumped out of the option.xml and bit me.

HELLO, I'm a happy camper again. I just got my replacement TP from Verizon....So now I'm only crippled to manufacturer's specs.

IS THERE ANYTHING THAT SOMEONE WANTS ME TO TRY WITH A "PURE", VIRGIN STOCK ROM BEFORE I GET RID OF IT.

I'll give you 10 seconds to respond....then it gets flashed. Actually, I'll give you a little more time.

The original problem was that ACTIVESync wouldn't see the phone, either as a phone or as a hard drive. All my flashing had to be done via SD card.
