Re: GC's Touch Pro ROMs & Kitchen 2.1.4

So, I really want to install a cooked GC rom. The catch is, every time I cook a rom on my windows machine using BuildOS, the file gets somehow corrupt and the ROM ends up being completely buggy (can't run cabs, can't open messages... lots of nasty problems). There is some sort of software conflict. And right now, can't afford to do the reformat it would probably take to fix it.

So, I am wondering if anyone out there, out of the goodness of their heart, wouldn't mind cooking me a rom that looks like my attached screenshots and uploading it somewhere for me (sendspace? mega? rapid?) Thank you thank you thank you.

I'd do it but that screen shot is way too small for me to see what you have selected. Get me a better screen shot and I'll get it done.

Awesome. I think PPC Geeks scaled the screenshot. Here's a .zip. Let's see if that works better.

Thanks so much! I owe you one.

PS: i'm on a verizonized sprint TP

I'm having the same issue with playing videos from TFlo and straight from HTC Album. TFlo will freeze and HTC album will simply not play. I"ve tried messing with the registry but no luck.

Any answers out there?

Giving it a bump!!!

Are you by chance a supporter of SPB's products? The reason I ask, I use SPB Pocket Plus and SPB Diary and whenever I am in the settings for the two programs all the drop down menus don't actually drop down. I have to push the up and down hardware keys on the phone to see the different options. Have you or anybody else experienced this on your ROM? Any help would be appreciated.

I am using a Verizonized Sprint Touch Pro using a ROM built from GC's Kitchen 2.1.4.
Hi Kilgore,
I am also using a Verizonized Sprint Touch Pro. But I'm not rocking the A-GPS. How did you do it? What steps do I need to take to get a-GPS of my very own?

You need to use the computer program QPST to change your GPS One settings. Here are the settings you need to change to:

PDE IP Address: 66.174.95.132
PDE Port Number: 8888
PDE Transport: IP
Position Calculation: PDE

For information on how to do this, go here...
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...VerizonAGPSFix

Do not instal the GC Verizon aGPS.cab though, as these settings are already in the ROM, as this is a GC ROM afterall. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Talking Re: GC's Touch Pro ROMs & Kitchen 2.1.4

I just wanted to add a quick thanks to GC for offering up this kitchen. I have tried countless ROMs and kitchens from chefs here and at XDA, yet this is the only one that allows me to run *all* of the PPC apps (like PC Anywhere 12.5 mobile and GPS!) without the 'missing file/not signed with trusted source' error. I'm not sure why that happens, but thanks to your efforts my wife can now sleep better because I can use my VZW TP instead of laptop in bed. (^5 to Kilgore from Columbus!)
