Now I am 50/50. I have read all 9-pages three or more times and I am a Verizon customer but really like the look of the sprint TP. I really want to get the sprint...but never done a cross-device rom before and GC gps is a need for me since I travel and all this stuff about not letting customizations run confuse me since I do not know what that means...

Second...if on vzx how did those get the sprint...mail order, got it from sprint store buy & cancel contract (if possible), etc. then somewhere you have to get esn from vzw to make the sprint work...??? just lost here...

I did pm some good folks out there so I am sure fam will come thur..

waiting for FedEx to deliver it...so it is coming from Verizon. But enlighten to all I have read and youtube videos I like the Sprint look better. Until I get more info about how Sprint and how others got it, I will not open the box on the vzw TP when it arrives...

Thanks GC-Looks like I will be flashing today. Downloading now as I type. I am using your rom from kitchen 2.1.0-works great no bugs or issue's that I have run into this past week.

From what I understand the Sprint TP for some reason has more memory and ram than the Verizon version. Each carrier can order what they want in the different makes and models that they order from the manufacturer.

this is true. the verizon TP is gimped hard core compared to the sprint TP. from what i've read it's not to hard to use a sprint TP on your verizon account, the down side is you have to buy the Sprint TP outright with no discount. for some, this is well worth it.

Yes...I found this out today...the cost and contact cancel fees are too much. I can get one online like ebay but I am very picky and wanted a new, mint machine...

VZW arrived today so I will open it and start this process...my first step is to unlock it I am sure...

is there a way to make the notifications alert a sound every 5,7,10, etc. minutes to know you missed a msg, call, etc. I put my TP on the desk so hearing an alert at a set interval would be best?

I tried searching, but does anyone know how I can change the data icon from 3G back to EV?

I found the customize your taskbar thread, but the cabs listed there override my themes. It also says that you can replace a .dll in the kitchen which is posted, but the same dll is a folder in the kitchen, not just one file.

You can get new, mint Sprint touch Pros from ebay with no contract. that's where I got mine and paid ~$340. You also don't have to cancel your contract or anything. Just port it over to your existing Verizon account.
