no2chem you mean, but you weren't picking roms you were just enabling or disabling the camera in the same rom.

You guys are confused on how this would actually work. Unlike a PC, which stores all of it's information on the hard drive making it possible to completely isolate different OSes, phones don't have that luxury. The Storage partition would have to be shared. That single fact means you would have to hard reset when you switched.

Which brings me to my second point...learn to use a kitchen. Applying your customizations to someone else's rom more than one time is lame.

No2chem's solution works for any device. Nothing magical about it (except you have to have a microSD card)

I already know how to use a kitchen.

Also I was talking about having separate space allocated for each OS. Perhaps some special programming to designate or hide certain ones. I never said it would be an easy thing, in fact require heavy mofications to everything involved, but not totally impossible (though very unlikely).

android does not, i repeat, DOES NOT, run ON TOP of winmo... winmo is shut off right before the linux kernel boots up... and thats why you have to soft reset your phone when you wanna go back to winmo from android...

just to clarify

thanks for clarifying, but dont you have to boot winmo before you can boot android, if im correct, thats where i got confused, again thanks for clarifying this for me, i was kind of unsure so i shouldn't have said i KNOW, i should've said i THINK, guess i should've THOUGHT and used the right words.

off topic - is there a functioning version of android yet that works right where the phone actually functions and makes calls and receives texts? or is it still basic boot and see how it works and thats it kind of demo-like jive goin on?

Re: Dual-Boot 2 Rom in 1?

no prob, you do have to boot winmo first because you must get into file explorer to launch Heret.exe.... but, i'm sure in the future, an advanced rom chef will create an ONLY android ROM when android is 100%

for the Touch Pro, they are FAAAR from complete... the Vogue has the most advanced android right now, practically finished i believe but i haven't looked that up in a while... you can catch videos of the Vogue's android on youtube
