One thing to remember is that different physical location could produce different results. If you're testing in a strong EVDO area you may not see the same power draw that someone in a fringe area who's flopping between 1X and EV might see. My friend who's in such a fringe EVDO area gets maybe 70% of the battery life that I do, and I'm certain I use mine more. Some radio software could conceivably handle tower swaps or error correction for weak signals better than others. Anyway, just a thought that would support both your findings and the what other people have reported.

EDIT: you dont have to mention that you are using a custom ROM... just that you are having issues.

HA! yeah... no such luck unfortunately, still need the service from VZW to run the app.

Unlocking just lets you use the built in GPS with every other GPS app out there!

I ask because with that above combo, i've seen my battery levels jump erratically sometimes... i didnt notice those battery jumps with tsowen's V2 taskbar set.

I'm on tsowen V2 I believe... whichever one was posted earlier that was in VZ Nav 3.0 but then removed from SSK. I also run WITHOUT the NuePower drivers... I like 5 or 10% increments otherwise I get pissed that the single percents drop so fast!!

Phattooth... what taskbar is that that YOU are running! I like that one even better!

Hmmm, not sure then, but like i said, i wasnt sure if they were related or not.

I'm using tsowen's taskbar 5 ver1.6

Just noticed while grabbing that link that he has a new 1.7 ver... will probably try that today!
