I know that autorun will put files in MainMemory, but I read in some post that is primarily that when someone makes a cab, the destination directory is left as a wild card....that's why you get the option when doing a pure cab install. Without a specific directory, autorun puts it in main memory. However, if the CAB file calls specifically for it to be placed on the SD card, the that's what autorun will do. Have you ever tried modifying a CAB so that it specifically calls for installation on an SD card?....If so, was it successful?

Now, not ROM related but overall quality of the phone... This owwrries because if hard reset FIXES this.... Then the phone is inherietnly defeftive. BUt I also think we have come to grips with that fact already.

Look at all the "real" touch pro's.... Hell we dont have problems liek them!!!! Trhey ahve serious problems, the sprint one... Yeah nice, I want my case to fall apart, fade, and have the fancy smanchy chrome fall off...

Our stuff is a better build. But the issue of needing a hard reset if true of all version sof this phone.... and that simply worries me. WTF DID HTC DO!

so after hard reset i'm back to locked up on boot screen. any next step ideas? i can re-flash again. i'm thikning....perhaps flash back to verizon stock first?

No, but I could try...... Not tonight though.... working on projects... If you PM i can play around with it... NOTE: Some cabs dont play well after being modified. VZ NAvigator is one for example. I tried to get the default shortcut changed to another locaiton and it woudl let me. Gives me errors about security...

Are you flashing a Kitchen ROM or a Posted ROM?

What ever you are doing repeat the process 8 to 10 mores times tonight and you can call yourself a ROM developer... Ahahahahahaa Yeah... I hate the tricolor screen. Makes me psycotic to look at... And I look at it ALOT!

I brick atelast twice a night when I try things I know damn well I shouldnt. But not a real brick... Just a lock up. It used to happen to me ALL THE TIEM with the PPCK so thats why I just went out and did my own thing.

i wouldnt imagine it would be all that rough to do... in my playings with CE cab manager, it's just variable to set... but i would have to experiment to tell you for sure.

do you have an app in mind? i would try it for ya if you dont have CE cab man.
