Well when it shuts off, it has to go through the VZW splash screen on boot. Kinda like a soft reset, except you have to hit the power button to make it go on again.

The big thing I noticed was, that even before ShutXP was even installed, the phone failed to shut down when holding the power button. You know when you hold it down, and get the yes/no windows dialog? Nothing happened at all. And this happened to me on the SSK and bored ROMs both, but not with stock nor VZNav 2 or so.

Well if you already had shutXP installed, it may have issues trying to overwrite the common files... not really sure though.

But i'm gonna take a look over at XDA for a TP version, that's where this new Diamond one came from... probably should be one there. Better to have the right one anyway.

BUT FIRST, i have to make dinner! Hungry!
(and this damn thing is pissin me off right now, have to set it down before i throw it!) ;-)

Was trying to install that version of ShutXP from the Diamond site. Conflict might be the shutXP that you have cooked into ROM 3.0

Is anybody else having problems receiving text messages? I just discovered that several people have text me today and that I received none of them. I sent a text to one person and they got my text but, I did not get their response. Any ideas?

i dont recommend the 9.5 beta because it has activex disabled, doesn't support flash, and doesn't come with the zoom slider. i suggest cooking up with the opera9_2649_VGA build - works great.

i posted this back in the 3.0 thread, but i didn't really get feedback - has anyone been experiencing the "nonstop vibrate" after receiving e-mail? it'll just go and go until i click on the email.

howevr, it still doesn't work for me because of "I don't have the right permissions" could be a conflict with the one built into the 3.0 ROM...going to try to rename that one and try again

It was discussed a couple times...it's a WinMo bug...happened to several of us, including me, on other stock and other ROMs. Also happens on texts too.

Its happened to more on stock than custom. Never actually on a custom, my own and others.

Stock it did MAYBE twice..... But yeah, I blame the CE OS!
